John Cena 'Hustle Loyalty Respect' Instant Win Contest
OFFICIAL RULES
NO PAYMENT, ENTRY FEE OR PURCHASE REQUIRED. OPEN TO RESIDENTS OF THE FIFTY (50) UNITED STATES, DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA AND CANADA, EXCLUDING QUEBEC. ENTRANTS MUST BE AT LEAST THIRTEEN (13) YEARS OLD AT TIME OF ENTRY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
HOW TO ENTER: John Cena 'Hustle Loyalty Respect' Instant Win Contest (the “Contest”) begins at 12:01 PM (ET) on May 27, 2016 and ends at 2:15 AM (ET) on May 31, 2016 (the “Contest Period”).
Contestants receive an entry in the contest drawing by filling in their information on the contest page (http://www.wwe.com/CenaBook) and pushing the entry button. Upon completion of the fields, contestants will be told whether or not they are an instant winner of one of the Grand Prizes.
All entry materials become the property of World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. (“WWE,” the Sponsor of the Contest) and will not be acknowledged or returned. Each action completed earns the entrant entry in the drawing, as noted below. Limit of four (4) entries per person/per email address during the Contest Period.
Sponsor’s computer is the official time keeping device for this Contest. All entries become the sole property of WWE and will not be acknowledged or returned. Entries will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address or telephone number submitted at the time of entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to the e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (such as a business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address, or who is assigned a phone number by a phone service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning phone numbers associated with the submitted phone number. The authorized account holder may be required to provide proof of identity. If a dispute cannot be resolved, the entry will be deemed ineligible. Any other attempted form of entry is prohibited; no automatic, programmed, robotic or similar means of entry are permitted.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.
OWNERSHIP AND LICENSE: All entry materials become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. The copyright of any submitted materials shall become the property of Sponsor, and entry into this Contest constitutes entrant’s irrevocable and perpetual permission and consent, without further compensation, with or without attribution, to use, reproduce, print, publish, transmit, distribute, sell, perform, adapt, enhance, or display such submitted materials, and the entrant’s name and/or likeness, for any purpose, including but not limited to editorial, advertising, trade, commercial, and publicity purposes by the Sponsor and/or others authorized by the Sponsor, in any and all media now in existence or hereinafter created, throughout the world, for the duration or the copyright in the submitted materials. Sponsor and/or others authorized by the Sponsor shall have the right to edit, adapt, and modify the submitted materials.
ELIGIBILITY: Contest open only to individual legal residents of the fifty (50) United States, District of Columbia and Canada (excluding Quebec) who are at least thirteen (13) years old when they enter the Contest. Employees, officers and directors of WWE (including WWE performing talent) and its subsidiaries, affiliates (i.e., entities controlling, controlled by or under common control with, WWE), promotion and advertising agencies and anyone involved in the Contest development or execution, and the immediate family members (meaning spouses, parents, siblings, children and their respective spouses) and members of the households of such employees, officers and directors are not eligible. By taking part in this Contest, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules. WWE reserves the right to permanently disqualify from this Contest any person it believes has intentionally violated these Rules. The Contest is subject to all federal, state and local laws. DRAWING: The Grand Prize Winners shall be selected instantly upon entry, based on the instant win odds set by the contest. Potential winners will be contacted by e-mail within approximately five (5) business day after being selected. Winner will be required to claim his or her prize within forty-eight (48) hours of the time the winner notification is sent. To claim the prize, the selected Grand Prize winner must respond to the prize notification message via direct message to the designated e-mail account. Grand Prize Winner may be required to provide additional information to confirm identity and eligibility and also may be required to complete and sign an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release and, where legal, a Publicity Release, and any other documentation that WWE may require and to see to it that WWE is in receipt of such information and documents within one (1) day of being requested to provide the same. If the selected Grand Prize Winner is a minor in his or her state of residence at the time he or she is asked to sign any document, the minor’s parent or legal guardian also will be required to sign the documents. In all cases, WWE reserves the right to request proof of identity, residency, age and parenthood or guardianship, and thea winner will be deemed to have forfeited the prize if WWE, in its sole discretion, finds that the proof is unsatisfactory. The prize will be forfeited (i) if the selected Grand Prize Winner does not timely provide the requisite information, return the requisite documents or cannot be reached within one (1) business day from initial notification attempt, (ii) if prize is returned as non-deliverable, and/or (iii) in the event of non-compliance with any of the requirements of these Official Rules.
GRAND PRIZE: Six (6) Grand Prize Winners will win an autographed copy of John Cena's new book "Hustle Loyalty Respect: The World of John Cena". ARV of prize: $30 USD. Total ARV of prizes: $180 USD.
All expenses not specified in these Official Rules, including, without limitation, taxes and insurance are solely each Prize Winner’s responsibility. Each Prize Winner shall be responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes including but not limited to any sales and income taxes. Prizes may not be substituted, transferred or redeemed for cash, except by WWE, who reserves the right to substitute similar prize of comparable or greater value in its sole discretion.
ODDS OF WINNING: Odds of instant win are 1 in 250. Contest will end when all 6 prizes have been awarded.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: Contest entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and decisions of WWE which are final and binding on all matters relating to this Contest. By entering, participants (and parent/legal guardian if participant is a minor) release and hold harmless WWE, Mars Chocolate North America LLC and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, representatives, promotion, advertising and online technology agencies, prize suppliers and all others associated with the development or execution of this Contest and each of their respective owners, shareholders, directors, officers, employees, contractors and agents (the “Releasees”) from any and all liability or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with participation in this Contest or acceptance, use, misuse or nonuse of any prize or parts thereof (including activity or travel related thereto), including, without limitation, liability for death, personal injury, damage or loss of any kind, and from liability to any other persons relating to or resulting from entering or downloading materials or software in connection with this Contest The Releasees do not make any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the use of any prize, including, without limitation, quality, merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose. Further, no responsibilities are accepted for any additional expenses, omissions, delays, re-routing, or acts of any government or authority. WWE reserves the right to modify this Contest in any way it deems necessary or appropriate and to cancel this Contest if it deems necessary or appropriate. Entry constitutes permission for WWE and its designees to use winner’s name, likeness, performance, hometown and state for advertising and promotional purposes in any and all media at the discretion of WWE without additional compensation unless prohibited by law.
INTERNET: The use of any automated launching or entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that permits the participant to automatically register and/or enter repeatedly is prohibited. If for any reason this Contest is not capable of running as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Contest. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest for any reason. Should this Contest be terminated, Sponsor reserves the right to select the Grand Prize Winner in a random drawing from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received as of the action requiring such termination. Releasees assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Releasees are not responsible for lost, late, garbled, misdirected, or postage due entries or mail, or for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or telephone lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Sponsor on account of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in this Contest or downloading any materials in this Contest CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. DATA COLLECTION: All personal information submitted in relation to the Contest will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and the privacy policy of WWE which may be found at www.wwe.com/help/generalfaq/privacypolicy. Your personal information will only be used in connection with the Contest and as provided for in these Official Rules. The name of the Grand Prize Winner will be made available as provided for below. Your personal information also may be used to send you additional information about WWE and its subsidiaries and each of their respective products and programs only if you provide your affirmative consent to receive such information when entering the Contest. Your personal information will not be used for any other purpose and will not be shared with anyone else.
NAME OF GRAND PRIZE WINNER: For the name of the Grand Prize Winners, available after May 31, 2016, send a self-addressed stamped envelope (Vermont residents may omit return postage) to: John Cena 'Hustle Loyalty Respect' Instant Win Contest, WWE Contest Fulfillment, 1241 East Main Street, Stamford, CT 06902. Requests must be received by August 15, 2016.
MISCELLANEOUS: Participants agree that this Contest is governed solely by the laws of the United States. Any claims arising out of the Contest shall be governed solely by United States law and may be brought only in a federal or state court in Connecticut. If any provisions of these Rules are held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions hereof will remain in full force and effect.
