“GET US TO GOODWILL, SHOW US YOUR CRAZY SWEATER HOLIDAY CONTEST”

I.  NAME OF SPONSOR(S)

“Windy City LIVE” and WLS Television, Inc.  (Hereinafter collectively referred to as “Sponsor”).

II.  ELIGIBILITY 

Open only to legal residents of Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin; 18 years of age or older and must reside in one of the following counties: in Illinois - Lake, McHenry, DeKalb, Kane DuPage, Cook, Kendall, Will Grundy, Kankakee, La Salle; in Indiana - Lake, Porter, La Porte, Newton, Jasper; and in Wisconsin - Kenosha, Walworth, Racine.

Any individuals (including but not limited to employees, consultants, independent contractors, and interns) who have, within the past six months, performed services for WLS Television, Inc. and/or its respective parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies, and immediate family and household members of such individuals, are not eligible to enter or play.  "Immediate family members" shall mean parents, step-parents, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, or spouses.  "Household members" shall mean people who share the same residence at least three months a year.

III.  HOW AND WHEN TO ENTER

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.

 Entrants must go to the Windy City LIVE web site (http://www.WindyCityLIVE.com), click on the “Crazy Sweater” contest graphic; or click the “Promotions” graphic and scroll down to the “Crazy Sweater” Contest information to click the official entry link.  Entrants will be required to submit a first and last name, City & State, contact phone number, valid email address and a “Crazy Sweater Photo” of the entrant wearing his/her “Crazy Sweater.” Entrants must also agree to the terms and conditions of the Contest.  

To enter via Facebook: 

Entrants must go to the Windy City LIVE Facebook page (http://www.Facebook.com/WindyCityLIVE) and click the link within the “Crazy Sweater” post on the page.   Entrants will be required to submit a first and last name, City & State, contact phone number, valid email address and a photograph of the entrant wearing his/her “Crazy Sweater.” Entrants must also agree to the terms and conditions of the Contest.  

For the purposes of this Contest, a “Crazy Sweater” is defined as:

a)      Any Christmas holiday-themed sweater that has been altered from its original form with additional objects, ornaments, and/or decorations by the Entrant.

For the purposes of this Contest, a “Crazy Sweater Photo” is defined as:

a)      Photo of the entrant wearing the “Crazy Sweater”

b)      All photos must be original and owned by the Entrant

By entering this Contest, Entrant gives WLS Television, Inc. non-exclusive rights to broadcast and/or publish on ABC7Chicago.com and/or WindyCityLIVE.com and/or post to Social Media, including, but not limited to Facebook, Twitter and/or Instagram,  submitted “Crazy Sweater Photos” throughout the Contest period and for an additional period of thirty (30) days once Contest has ended.

Limit one (1) Entry per person.

Contest begins on November 21, 2016 at 1:00 PM Central Time (CT) and ends on 2:00 PM CT December 12, 2016 (“Promotion Period”). However the period for submitting entries begins on November 21, 2016 at 12:01 AM CT and ends on 11:59PM December 4, 2016.

For Facebook entries, you understand that you are providing your information to Sponsor and not to Facebook, and that this Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered or associated with Facebook.  Any questions, comments or complaints regarding this Contest should be directed to Sponsor, and not Facebook. 

Sponsor can provide no technical support and accepts no responsibility for insuring the receipt or successful submission of your entry.  Mass entries or entries generated by a script, macro or use of automated methods will be disqualified.  Sponsor is not responsible for failed, partial or garbled computer transmissions, or for technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to electronic malfunction or damage of any network, hardware or software.  If for any reason the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or other causes that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Contest, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest.  No responsibility is assumed for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; or any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or electronic entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web-site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials from this Contest.  In the event of a dispute over an electronic entry, prize will be awarded to the owner of the e-mail account, not the name on the entry form.  Except as otherwise contemplated by these Rules, and to the extent entrants may otherwise elect at the time of Entry, information provided by you for these Contest is subject to Sponsor’s privacy policy located at https://disneyprivacycenter.com/privacy-policy-translations/english (“Privacy Policy”).

IV.  HOW AND WHEN WINNERS WILL BE SELECTED AND NOTIFIED 

Four (4) Finalists will be chosen by Sponsor on December 5, 2016. Finalists will be chosen by Sponsor based on the following judging criteria: originality, potential for on-air appeal and creativity of submission.

Finalists will be notified via email and/or phone on December 5, 2016 no later than 5PM CT. 

All Finalists will be asked to appear on the “Windy City LIVE” broadcast on Monday, December 12, 2016 from 12:00pm ct to 2:30pm ct wearing his/her “Crazy Sweater;” however, a Finalist who is not able to appear live on the broadcast will not be disqualified from winning a prize.

Starting on December 6, 2016 at 12:01AM CT and ending on December 12, 2016 at 6:00 AM CT, the public will be invited to vote on the Finalist they deem to have the best sweater using the following link: http://woobox.com/xp668o. Limit one (1) vote per person per computer.

The Finalist achieving the greatest total number of votes will be deemed the Grand Prize Winner.  In the event of a tie, the Executive Producer of “Windy City LIVE” or his designee will determine the Winner.

One (1) Grand Prize Winner will be announced live on the “Windy City LIVE” broadcast, December 12, 2016 at approximately 1:50PM CT.

Three (3) First Prize Winners will be announced live on the "Windy City LIVE" broadcast, December 12, 2016.

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Final determination of winner is always conditional on verification of eligibility and compliance with all rules and procedures. 

V.  PRIZE(S)

GRAND PRIZE:  One (1) New York City Travel Package for 2 nights and 3 days including: round-trip economy air fare for two (2) people from Chicago O’Hare to New York City, NY on an airline to be determined by Sponsor; two (2) nights hotel accommodation in a single room in a Manhattan hotel to be determined by Sponsor; two (2) tickets to see “Live with Kelly” at the ABC Studios, West 67^th St. and Columbus Avenue in New York, NY; One (1) $250 VISA gift card;  ARV of Prize: $1800.00 US.

FIRST PRIZE: One (1) $250 VISA gift card; ARV of Prize: $250.00

For the “Live with Kelly” show, due to FCC requirements, children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult and children under 10 years are not permitted.  Talent, taping and production schedule is subject to change. 

Prize must be used in its entirety no later June 30, 2017. 

Final actual value at time of booking and travel may be substantially more or less depending on dates of travel, point of origin and ticket availability.  Some restrictions apply.

All expenses not specifically provided for herein are the winner’s sole responsibility.  Some restrictions may apply.

Federal, state and local taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner, who will receive an IRS Form 1099 reflecting the final actual value of any prize valued at $600 or more.

 Winners are not entitled to exchange or transfer prizes or to obtain cash or other substitutes, but Sponsor in its sole discretion may substitute prizes of equal or greater value.

Prize is subject to availability.  Sponsor is not responsible for cancellation or preemption of the “Live with Kelly” show or for other circumstances that make it impractical or impossible to fulfill this element of the prize.  This element of the prize has no approximate retail value, and if it becomes impractical or impossible to fulfill this element, Sponsor’s only obligation will be to provide the remainder, if any, of prize.

VI.  RELEASES

By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, Judges and/or the Contest administrator, which shall be final in all respects.

By participating in this Contest and accepting any prize that they may win, entrants agree to release WLS Television, Inc., its parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies, advertising and promotion agencies and prize suppliers, and each of their respective officers, directors, agents, representatives and employees, as well as each of their respective successors, representatives and assigns, and Facebook (collectively, the “Released Parties”)  from any and all actions, claims, injury, loss or damage arising in any manner, directly or indirectly, from participation in this Contest and/or acceptance or use of the prize.

Entrants authorize the Released Parties to use their name, voice, likeness, biographical data, city and state of residence and entry materials in programming or promotional material, worldwide in perpetuity, or on a winner’s list, if applicable, without further compensation unless prohibited by law.  Sponsor is not obligated to use any of the above mentioned information or materials, but may do so and may edit such information or materials, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, without further obligation or compensation.

To claim prize, (a) winner may be required to provide proof of age, identity and residency, (b) winner must sign and return affidavit of eligibility/compliance with rules, publicity/liability release and indemnification, and (c) winner’s intended guest(s) or travel companion(s), if any, may be required to sign liability/publicity release, all within the time period specified by Sponsor.

VII.  MISCELLANEOUS; WINNERS’ LIST 

Void where prohibited.  All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to cancel, terminate, modify and/or suspend the Contest in the event of tampering or other circumstances, including but not limited to acts of God or civil disturbance that render it impractical or impossible to complete or fulfill the Contest originally planned.
