Camera: Canon 5D MK III with PW Flex TT5 and AC 3 Zone Control
Strobes: Two PaulCBuff Einsteins with PW MC2 Receivers using the Lithium Vagabond Units and One AlienBee B1600 Strobe with Flex TT5 and AC 9 (Thought this flash started to fail with all the moisture, so I might be out a strobe, but I got the shots!)
Nikon D700, Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8, AlienBees B800, Vagabond Mini Battery, triggered with PocketWizard MiniTT1/FlexTT5 system with AC9 adapter and AC3 zone controller.
Shot at ISO 200, 1/500th sec, f/9.0, 70mm focal length, with B800 at full power.
1Ds Mark III, lastolite 3x3ft diffusion panel, Four Canon 580EXII Flashes set to Manual at 1/2 power mounted on a foursquare and painters pole. 4x Flex TT5, 1x FlexTT1 ISO 50, 70-200mm f2.8L IS USM lens, Shutter 1/4000, f2.8, -2.33ev Aperture priotry mode, Metering - Pattern.
1 White Lightning X1600 in a 47" octabox, camera left, set to full power via Pocketwizard AC3 on Mini TT1. Flex TT5 with AC9 received the signal on my strobe. Using Hypersync, I set the TT5 for max power rather than reduced clipping. Only a very small portion of the image was clipped and was easily compensated for, and then cropped out. Nikon D4, Nikon 85mm f/1.4G lens 1/2000 sec, F/6.3, ISO 100 Strobe set to full power
This was taken in daylight! With the power of Hypersync I was able to not only freeze time, but overpower the sun. It was done with just one studio strobe in an octabox, camera left.
