Official Rules, Terms and Conditions.

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS COMPETITION. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE OR IMPROVE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

Open to USA residents, 16 years and over.
Competition Opens April 26, 2020, 12:01AM and closes May 26 2020, 11:59PM EST.
One grand prize winner will be announced on June 10 2020 at Break The Floor, 5446 Satsuma Ave, North Hollywood, CA 91601.

The winner will receive:
A chance to present their work at the 2021 Capezio ACE Awards competition
A published interview with Dance Informa magazine at Danceinforma.com.

The winner will be chosen by Break the Floor faculty at their discretion, based on the choreographers video submission. All entrants must provide their name, email address, state, date of birth, and youtube video entry URL.

Entries must be made using the online form. No email or mail entries will be accepted. Only one entry per person.

Any entrant submitting inappropriate footage will be disqualified. Children under 18 years of age must receive permission from his/her parents to enter the competition and submit video. Capezio, Break the Floor and Dance Informa have the right to use the submitted videos to promote the competition, at their discretion.

The winner’s name, state and video may be published on DanceInforma.com, Capezio.com.au and BreaktheFloor.com, as well as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. All entrants will be given a free subscription to Dance Informa and will receive Dance Informa magazine via email.

No substitution or transfer of prize will be permitted. Prize does not include travel costs, flights or accommodation. By accepting any of the aforementioned prizes, prize winner agrees to release Capezio, Break the Floor and Dance Informa from any and all liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by entering the competition or for damages of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use or misuse or failure to use any prize awarded, or while preparing for, participating in, and/or travelling to and from any prize-related activity. Only the listed prizes will be awarded. There are no substitutions unless specified by Capezio, Break the Floor and Dance Informa. Capezio, Break the Floor and Dance Informa reserve the right at their sole discretion to substitute any prize package with another prize of equal or greater value. In the event that the Capezio ACE Awards cannot be held for reasons beyond the Competition Entities' control, another performance opportunity will be provided. Winners and entrants agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the Competition Entities from and against any claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in any part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of prize offered, or participation in this competition.

By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Capezio, Break the Floor and Dance Informa, and waive any right to claim ambiguity in the competition or these Official Rules. Capezio, Break the Floor and Dance Informa are the final interpreters of these Official Rules and the decisions of these organizations are final in all matters relating to the Official Rules.
