NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
Open only to United States citizens and legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia at least 18 years of age who submit their email address and postal address via this entry form in accordance with the instructions set forth below to New York City Ballet from within the 50 United States or the District of Columbia no later than 11:59 PM EDT on November 24, 2024. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Directors, officers, employees, and agents of New York City Ballet, The Empire Hotel, La Grande Boucherie, Magnolia Bakery, and their families and household members are not eligible. Alternate means of entry sent by mail must be postmarked no later than 11:59 PM EDT on November 24, 2024. NO EXCEPTIONS. Each participant will be given a unique share URL. When new participants enter the campaign via that URL, the original participant will be given 3 additional entries in the experience, improving their chance to win in a random draw. The winner will be chosen in a random drawing to be held not later than November 26, 2024. New York City Ballet’s determination of eligibility is final. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible email addresses submitted and entries by the alternate means described below that are received. The name of the winner may be posted on New York City Ballet’s website and the winner will also be notified by phone, email, or first class mail, as determined by New York City Ballet. The winner agrees to New York City Ballet posting his or her name on New York City Ballet’s website as the winner. The winner is solely responsible for reporting and making all federal, state, and local tax payments, including without limitation, income taxes and sales and use taxes, in connection with the award. New York City Ballet is not responsible for furnishing transportation to the venue/performance. Travel to the venue/performance is the sole responsibility of the winner. If the selected winner fails to meet the eligibility or other requirements set forth herein, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. New York City Ballet makes no warranties or guarantees, express or implied, with regard to the prize. The prize is not transferable and there is no substitution (in cash or otherwise). All seats are subject to availability. Each winner may, at the discretion of New York City Ballet, be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and/or Release, and failure to do so within the time specified will result in forfeiture of the prize.
ALTERNATE MEANS OF ENTRY: As an alternate way to enter, send a 3” x 5” card with the following information handwritten in block letters: your name, your postal address, phone number, fax (optional), and email address (optional) to The Nutcracker Sweepstakes, Marketing Department, New York City Ballet, 20 Lincoln Center, New York, NY 10023. Alternate entry limited to one per person.
All email addresses, postal addresses, and alternate means of entry become the property of New York City Ballet. By entering this sweepstakes, you are agreeing to receive communications from New York City Ballet, The Empire Hotel, La Grande Boucherie, and Magnolia Bakery. Exact dates of performance and reservations are subject to availability. The dining experience at La Grande Boucherie is redeemable as dinner for two people in the value of $300, can be redeemed Monday-Thursdays, excluding national holidays, and must be redeemed by March 31st, 2025. Every person, by submitting an entry via the online form or an alternate means of entry to New York City Ballet agrees to these Rules and the decisions of New York City Ballet, its officers, directors, employees, and agents and releases them from any and all claims and liability arising out of any participation in this drawing, and the selection of the winner and/or the drawing. New York City Ballet disclaims any and all liability for any computer equipment or software failure or malfunction or any damage caused to any entrant’s computer equipment or software. New York City Ballet is not responsible for any delays, non-delivery, and typographical, human, or other error of any nature with respect to any submissions, alternate means of entry, prize notice, administration of the selection process or drawing, or announcement of the winner. Any prize notice containing any error of any nature whatsoever shall be null and void. New York City Ballet reserves the right to cancel this drawing and not select a winner, if, in its sole discretion, it determines that the drawing may not be capable of being run as originally planned. By entering, the entrant agrees that (1) this random drawing and any and all aspects of the relationship between New York City Ballet and entrants shall be governed by the laws of the state of New York, without giving effect to its conflicts of law principles, and (2) any litigation, claims, disputes or controversies concerning, arising out of or in connection with this game of skill, drawing or any prize awarded shall be brought only in a federal or state court in the county of New York, state of New York, and entrant consents to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts and waives any objection or defense concerning jurisdiction or venue that entrant could otherwise have in such courts.
The name of the winner will also be available by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to New York City Ballet, 20 Lincoln Center, New York, NY 10023, Attention: Marketing Department. All requests for the name of the winner must be received by New York City Ballet by November 26, 2024. Requests received after this date will not be honored.
