The Healthy Paws Foundation was started in 2009 and it has helped hundreds of pet rescues and animal shelters by providing grants to help fund medical care, spay/neuter surgeries, food, shelter, and operating costs.
You must be a U.S.-based registered 501(c) (3) nonprofit with the IRS.
You must primarily serve dogs and cats.
You must be no-kill. While we understand euthanasia is sometimes the most humane action, we define no-kill as any shelter or rescue that only euthanizes for illness, debilitation or extreme aggression. We do not support shelters that euthanize for space reasons.
