Black Belt Road Trip Photo Contest - Official Rules
 

1. Contest Period: The contest begins June 14, 2024 at 12:00 a.m. and ends August 15, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.

2. Eligibility:  Only photos taken in the Black Belt during the 2024 season are eligible. One or more person(s) must be present in the photo to be eligible. Previous winners of the Black Bely Road Trip Photo Contest are not eligible.

3. How to Enter: Upload photos via entry form here: https://alabamablackbeltadventures.org/news-more/shoot-the-black-belt/roadtrip-photo-contest/ and enter, including the name of the contestant, email address, and select county where photo was taken. Limit of one entry per person. All entries must comply with the following restrictions:

a. By entering, you understand your entry, if approved, will be posted online to be viewed by members of the general public.

b. By entering, you will have the option to receive Alabama Black Belt Adventures Association email newsletters.

c. Entrants must not disparage Sponsor or any other person or party. 

4. Winner selection: Winner is determined by the photo that receives the most votes in the gallery. The winner is deemed to be a potential winner, pending verification of the entrant’s eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules as determined by Sponsor or Administrator, in their sole and absolute discretion.

5. Prize: TThe contestants who garner the most online votes will receive a first, second, or third place prize. The 1st place prize is a two-night stay for up to four people in one of the beautiful Lakepoint State Park cottages in Eufaula, subject to availability at the time of reservation. ALBBAA will also provide $150 to the winner for travel expenses. 2nd place prize is a $75 gas card. The 3rd place prize is gift basket filled with ALBBAA-themed merchandise. 

6. Winner Verification and Notification: Potential winners are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. Announcement and instructions for the Prize will be sent by private message to the potential Prize winner’s Facebook account or email, including requesting the potential winner to provide his/her complete first and last name (no initials), email address, physical mailing address, telephone number and date of birth. Once the potential winner’s initial information is received, Administrator will send an email with further instructions on how to claim the Prize. 

Limitation of Liability: By participating in the contest, entrants agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor, its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, Administrator, prize suppliers, Influencers, and advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their respective agents, representatives, officers, directors, shareholders and employees (collectively, “Released Parties”) from and against any injuries, losses, damages, claims, actions and any liability caused in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the contest or acceptance, possession, use, misuse or nonuse of any prize that may be awarded. The Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and/or void any entries submitted fraudulently, to modify or suspend the contest, or to terminate the contest and conduct a random drawing and award the prize using all eligible non-suspect entries received as of the termination date. 
 

8. Privacy Policy: Any personally identifiable information collected during an entrant’s participation in this Contest will be collected by Sponsor or its agent and used by Sponsor, its affiliates, agents, and marketers for the sole purpose of the proper administration and fulfillment of the Contest as described in these Official Rules, in accordance with Sponsor’s Website Privacy Policy at https://alabamablackbeltadventures.org/about/privacy-policy/.
