Parks New Brunswick is looking for photo inspirations from Canadian residents in either color or black/white which were taken within a participating New Brunswick Provincial Park† any time after December 1, 2024.
The photo should depict the following theme: Within a participating New Brunswick Provincial Park† what compels you to seek adventure and to love our parks”. Sponsor is looking for entrants to submit a Photo or Photos (in color or black and white) which depict “Within a participating New Brunswick Provincial Park what compels you to seek adventure and love for our park” (the “Theme”). Photos must be taken on or after December 1, 2024. The Contest is open to legal residents of Canada who are the age of majority in their province/territory at the time of entry and are considered an amateur photographer (see Official Rules). Contest closes at 11:59:59 p.m. Atlantic Standard Time (AST) on November 30, 2025. There is a limit of ten entries per Submission Period. First Submission Period starts at 9:00:00 a.m. AST on 1/7/2025 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. AST on 3/19/2025. Second Submission Period starts at 12:00:00 a.m. AST on 3/20/2025 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. AST on 6/20/2025. Third Submission Period starts at 12:00:00 a.m. AST on 6/21/2025 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. AST on 9/21/2025. Fourth Submission Period starts at 12:00:00 a.m. AST on 9/22/2025 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. AST on 11/30/2025. All eligible entries received during each Submission Period will be judged by a Selection Committee. Semi-finalist selection process: Upon the conclusion of each judging period the two Photos that received the highest overall score for each of the eleven Provincial Parks will be considered as eligible “Semi-Finalists” subject to Semi-Finalist confirmation. Odds of being selected as a Semi-Finalist depend on the quality of the other photos submitted within each Provincial Park. All non-selected eligible entries from each submission period will roll over for the following judging period. Finalist selection process: Judging of the confirmed Semi-Finalists entries for each of the eleven Provincial Parks will commence on or about 2/3/2026 and conclude on or about 2/20/2026. The two Semi-Finalists entries that received the highest overall score within each of the eleven Provincial Parks will be considered as an eligible “Finalists” subject to Finalists confirmation. Odds of being selected as a Finalist are subject to the quality of the other Semi-Finalists photos. A total of twenty-two Prizes are available to be won with two Prizes awarded to each of the two Finalists selected within each of the eleven participating Provincial Park. Each Finalists Prize consists of the selected photo included in Parks New Brunswick photo display showcase which is part of the Visual Art Exhibition program within the Fredericton Playhouse art galleries and a Parks NB prize package which includes one of each item: coffee mug; water bottle; baseball cap; note book with pen; wooden key chain; Parks NB 3” sticker; Canada Flag trees sticker; Parks NB “punch card” which provides the winner with five single entrance fees to Fundy Trail Provincial Park and five single entrance fees to Hopewell Rocks Provincial Park; a 2026 Seasonal Parks Pass and a 5” x 7” Finalists wooden plaque. The Approximate retail value of the Parks NB prize package is $365.00 CAD. The Sponsor is unable to assign a value to the photo’s being displayed at the Fredericton Playhouse. Correct answer to a mathematical skill-testing question required. Completion and return of a Declaration and Release Form is required. Void where prohibited. Prizes may not be exactly as shown.
