OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL UNITED STATES RESIDENTS RESIDING IN THE STATE OF WASHINGTON, WHO ARE PRESENT AT THE WASHINGTON CONVENTION CENTER & TRADE CENTER ON JANUARY 12, 2019 - JANUARY 13, 2019 FROM 10:00 AM PT TO 5:00 PM PT AND ARE 21 YEARS OR OLDER. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
1. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: The Safeway Wedding Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) begins on January 12, 2019 at 10:00 am Pacific Time (“PT”) and ends at 5:00 pm PT on January 13, 2019 (“Sweepstakes Period”).
2. ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is only open to legal U.S. residents residing in the state of Washington who are present at the Seattle Wedding Show at the Washington State Convention & Trade Center located at 800 Convention Place, 4th Floor, Seattle, WA 98101 (“Convention Center”) between 10:00 am PT and 5:00 pm PT on January 12, 2019 or January 13, 2019 and are 21 years of age or older at time of entry. Employees of Albertsons Companies, LLC (“Sponsor”), event staff and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, and agencies, and the immediate family members of each, including those residing in the same household (whether related to or not), are not eligible. The Sweepstakes is void where prohibited.
3. ENTRY: You may enter the Sweepstakes in person or online. To enter in person, enter at the Safeway booth located in the Convention Center by completing an entry form and depositing your entry form in the designated location at the Safeway booth (“Entry”). To enter online please complete the form at www.albetsons.com/seattle weddings or at www.safeway.com/seattleweddings . Entry must be deposited by 5:00 pm PT on January 13, 2019 to be eligible. Limit one (1) Entry per person. Incomplete entries may be disqualified.
4. PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (ARV): Three (3) Grand Prizes (Gift Baskets) – Each Grand Prize winner will receive a gift basket containing various Floral Department items plus a $500 Safeway/Albertsons gift card, all items combined not to exceed a $600 ARV. No substitution or transfer of Prize permitted except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor who reserves the right to substitute a Prize of equal or greater value in the event the Prize is unavailable.
5. RANDOM DRAWING: Three (3) Grand Prize winners will be selected in a random drawing on or about January 21, 2019 from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. The random drawing will be conducted by a Sponsor-specified representative, whose decisions are final on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Odds of winning depend upon the total number of eligible Entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.
6. GENERAL RULES: Prize winners will be notified by phone, mail and/or e-mail and may be required to execute and return via mail/email, an address verification/liability release form within five (5) days of notification attempt or Prize will be forfeited, and an alternate will be selected, time permitting. By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor and its agents. By entering this Sweepstakes, you agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor and its respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, employees and agents from any and all liability or any injury, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this Sweepstakes or the Prize won. Winner assumes all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this Sweepstakes or use or redemption of a Prize. Acceptance of a Prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor and its agencies to use each winner’s name, photograph, likeness, city and state for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, including a winners’ list, unless prohibited by law. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical/other error in printing of Sweepstakes or administration/Prize announcement in connection with this Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that tampers or attempts to tamper with the Entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes; violates the Official Rules; acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner; or acts with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. The Sponsor is not responsible for incomplete, lost, illegible or late Entries or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the Entries in the Sweepstakes. Proof of entering information does not constitute proof of delivery or receipt of such information.
7. DISCLAIMERS: Use of any automated process to enter is prohibited and may result in disqualification at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Sponsor further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the Sweepstakes if it is not capable of completion as planned or if the Seattle Wedding Show is cancelled or prematurely ended, including by reason of tampering, unauthorized intervention, force majeure, inclement weather, or failures of any sort. If the Seattle Wedding Show is cancelled before the Sweepstakes Period, the Sweepstakes will be cancelled, and Prizes will not be awarded. SPONSOR ENTITIES MAKE NO WARRANTIES, REPRESENTATIONS OR GUARANTEES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IN FACT OR IN LAW, AS REGARDS THIS SWEEPSTAKES OR THE MERCHANTABILITY, QUALITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE REGARDING THE PRIZE. ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND/OR CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ATTORNEYS’ FEES) FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.
8. APPLICABLE LAWS AND JURISDICTION: This Sweepstakes will be governed by the laws of the State of Washington, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts of the State of Washington for any disputes arising out of this Sweepstakes.
9. WINNERS’ LIST: For the names of the Grand Prize Winners, available after January 24, 2019 send a stamped, self-addressed envelope by March 17, 2019 to: The Safeway Wedding Sweepstakes Winners, 1121 124th Ave NE Bellevue, WA 98005.
