With March Madness cancelled, we decided to start a little madness of our own. Introducing March Meowness!

 With the cancellation of the NCAA Tournament, we won’t have any buzzer beaters, miracle upsets or the chance to see our SDSU Aztecs play for a national championship. Despite that, we’re bringing you a tournament that is sure to be filled with drama, overwhelming cuteness and the chance to make your pet famous and win fantastic prizes too!

 Prizes Include:

        1^st Place: A year of Purina food for your pet

        2^nd Place: $250 Target Gift Card

        3^rd Place:  A year subscription to Netflix (in Netflix gift cards)

        4^th Place:  SDHS swag bag & pet photo shoot with one of our photographers

 Photo Contest:

Entry into March Meowness is free. Use the form below to submit a photo of your pet. Only one photo submission per person, per day will be accepted.

 The March Meowness Selection Committee will choose the top 32 photos from the submissions based on quality, creativity and overall adorableness. Voting is open to the public and will commence according to the following schedule with head-to-head match ups determining who advances:

 

March 18-22: Contest open for photo submissions

March 23-25: Opening round voting to advance to the Sweet 16

March 26-28: Voting open to qualify for the Elite Eight

March 29-31: Voting for the Final Four

April 1-3: Voting to advance to the championship round

April 4-5: Voting for March Meowness Championship (top two photos go head to head)

April 6: The champion is crowned!

 

If your photo is chosen for the head-to-head match ups be sure to encourage your friends, family, social media followers, co-workers and even random strangers to vote for your adorable animal! Voting is free. So there’s no reason not to give it your best shot! While you will surely want to use all your time to vote repeatedly for your contestant, only one vote per day will qualify.
