• Giveaway Event Terms and Conditions

  • This Giveaway Event – ASUS Vivobook x *A BATHING APE® Launch Event Social Online Giveaway (“Giveaway Event”) is hosted by ASUSTeK Computer Inc. (“ASUS”). 

     

    1. Detailed information with respect to how to play and win prizes in connection with this specific Giveaway Event, ASUS Terms of Use Notice, and ASUS Privacy Policy, constitutes part of this Giveaway Event Terms and Conditions ("Terms and Conditions"). Your participation in this Giveaway Event is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. ASUS may at any time revise the Terms and Conditions and other rules set forth by ASUS. Participants shall be bound by any such revisions. 

     

    2. The Giveaway Event commences on July 31st, 2023 00:00 AM (UTC-7) and terminates on August 31st, 2023 11:30 PM (UTC-7) ("Giveaway Period") and is hosted globally, excluding Russia and Italy (“Giveaway Territory”).

     

    3. Employees of ASUS and its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising representatives and agencies, those who are involved in the Giveaway Event, and the immediate families (including parents, siblings, spouse, and children) of any of the foregoing persons, are NOT ELIGIBLE for this Giveaway Event.

     

    4. People who live in the Giveaway Territory and would like to participate in this Giveaway Event during the Giveaway Period acknowledge and agree as follows:

    A.         Eligible Entrant-

    Shall be at least 20 years old and considered an adult by the laws of the country where you reside in. 

     

    5. Giveaway Event details:

    A.    Actions Required:

    Eligible Entrant will need to complete the below actions to be qualified to join the lucky draw and earn the Prize (as defined below). Each Eligible Entrant can choose to participate in one or more giveaway campaigns mentioned below (“Campaign(s)”) -

    Campaign 1: Log in YouTube, joining the livestream on ASUS YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/c/ASUS) and answer the questions displayed in the YouTube livestream with the correct answer and required hashtag under the post (each, a “Valid YT Entry”).

    Campaign 2: Log in TikTok, duet the ASUS Vivobook S BAPE Edition Baby Milo Dancing Challenge video on ASUS TikTok channel (https://www.tiktok.com/@asus) and publish the video on TikTok using a public account with a required hashtag on the caption and tag ASUS TikTok account (each, a “Valid TK Entry”).

    Campaign 3: Log in Instagram, use ASUS Vivobook S BAPE Edition AR filter on ASUS Instagram account (https://www.instagram.com/asus/), record a video with the filter and publish it on IG story using a public account with the required hashtag on the post and tag ASUS Instagram account (each, a “Valid IG Entry”).


    B.    Campaign 1: There will be ten (10) Prize winners randomly selected from all Valid YT Entries received for the Giveaway Event on ASUS YouTube channel designated above. ASUS will announce on its ASUS Global Instagram, ASUS Global Facebook, ASUS Global YouTube, and ASUS Global Twitter page within twenty (20) days after the end of the Giveaway Period (“Announcement Date”).

       Campaign 2: There will be twenty (20) prize winners randomly selected from all Valid TK Entries received for the Giveaway Event on ASUS TikTok channel designated above. ASUS will announce on its ASUS Global Instagram, ASUS Global Facebook, ASUS Global YouTube, and ASUS Global Twitter page within twenty (20) days after the end of the Giveaway Period (“Announcement Date”).

       Campaign 3: There will be twenty (20) prize winners randomly selected from all Valid IG Entries received for the Giveaway Event on ASUS Instagram channel designated above. ASUS will announce on its ASUS Global Instagram, ASUS Global Facebook, ASUS Global YouTube, and ASUS Global Twitter page within twenty (20) days after the end of the Giveaway Period (“Announcement Date”).


    C.    Each Prize winner will receive a prize with a value around 50 USD (“Prize”). Each Eligible Entrant is only allowed to win one time in each Campaign participated. For clarity, if an Eligible Entrant participates in more than one of the Campaigns, he/she may win more than one time.


    D.    Each Prize winner shall provide his/her full name, email and physical address, phone number, his/her social media account name, and his/her answer to the questions displayed in the YouTube livestream by email to global_socialmedia@asus.com (this data will only be used as a means to deliver the Prize to the Prize winners) within 1 week after the Announcement Date. The Prize winner should guarantee that all information provided is accurate and truthful. Any failure of a Prize winner to make the contact information available to ASUS will be deemed a waiver of his/her right to claim the Prize, and ASUS, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to conduct a redraw to decide a substitute.


    E.    NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. No purchase is necessary to participate in the Giveaway Event. A purchase will not improve any Eligible Entrant’s chances of winning.


    F.     NO WARRANTIES. Prize winner(s) understands and agrees that the Prize is provided “AS-IS,” and, to the fullest extent permitted by laws, ASUS makes no warranties covering any of the Prizes furnished as part of this Giveaway Event. ASUS’ obligation to provide the Prize to the Prize winner is deemed completed after the Prize is delivered to the address provided by the Prize winner.


    G.    A cash payment of the Prize is excluded.

     

    6.    For any reviews/ articles/ posts/ ratings about your user-generated content or using experience of ASUS products/ services on ASUS or on 3rd party platforms, you should disclose material connections between ASUS and you in such reviews/ articles/ posts/ ratings (for example, by stating “sponsored post by ASUS” or “promoted post by ASUS” in your reviews/ articles/ posts/ ratings).

     

    7. This Giveaway Event is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with YouTube / Instagram / TikTok (“Social Media”). Participant agrees to grant the foregoing Social Media a complete release regarding this Giveaway Event. You acknowledge that this Giveaway Event is hosted by ASUS and not by YouTube / Instagram / TikTok; and any comments and Personal Information you provided to ASUS during this Giveaway Event will only be used for this Giveaway Event by ASUS.
