Pumpkinpalooza Costume and Pumpkin Decorating Contest Rules

1. One contest submission is allowed per email address, per contest category. If multiple entries are desired for a family with only one email - additional submissions can be sent to viridian@thecountylibrary.org for consideration.
2. Photos must show a “Pumpkinpalooza2020” sign, either printed contest sign or handwritten.
3. County Library team members reserve the right to deny participation privileges to any entry considered offensive or in poor taste.
4. Contest is open to anyone living in Salt Lake County, with the exception of Viridian Event Center staff and members of their household.
5. One prize per category will be awarded.
6. Voting to determine prize winners will be tallied as of Saturday, October 31st at 12noon. Any votes received after that time, will not count towards the final prize.
7. Winners for each category will be notified by email and/or phone on Saturday, October 31st. Winners have one week to make an appointment to collect their prize or an alternate winner will be chosen.
8. Prizes must be collected in person, by the winner(s), by making an appointment with the Library's Viridian Event Center.
9. Costumes that have won any awards at any past County Library Pumpkinpaloozas may NOT be entered into the contest.
10. All decisions of the Viridian Event Staff regarding eligibility and winners are final.
