Terms and Conditions for the Zurich Gaycation Contest
The Contest is brought to you by PASSPORT Magazine. By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules.
Eligibility: The Zurich Gaycation Contest is open to natural persons that are legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who at time of entry are 21 years of age or older. Contest begins at 12:00 AM Eastern Time ("ET") on May 9, 2022 and ends at 11:59 PM (ET) on June 30, 2022 Contest is sponsored by PASSPORT Magazine. Employees of the Sponsors, and their subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to enter. Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law. By participating in the Contest, each entrant (i) agrees to be bound by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements, and (ii) agrees to be bound by the decisions of Sponsor and any independent judging organization, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to the Contest. Those who enter also acknowledge and agree that any privacy policy, user agreement, and/or other policies applicable to PASSPORT Magazine shall also be applicable to the Contest; provided, however, that these Official Rules shall govern in the event of a conflict between (i) such privacy policy, user agreement, and/or other policies and (ii) these Official Rules.
How to Enter: To enter online, answer the question as indicated and complete the online entry form (accessible on the Passport Magazine Woobox App at http://woobox.com and follow all entry instructions. Entries must be received by 11:59 PM (ET) on June 30, 2022. Entrants subject to all notices posted online including but not limited to privacy policy. Entrants receive one entry. There is no penalty if the entrant does not wish to share their link to their friends. In the event of a dispute, entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized Account Holder" means the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. Mass entries, or entries generated by a script, macro or use of automated devices will be disqualified in Sponsor's sole and absolute discretion. Sponsor is not responsible for, and will have the right to refuse in its sole and absolute discretion, lost, late, damaged, incomplete, illegible or misdirected entries, whether due to Internet or e-mail server failure or postal delay or losses or otherwise. All entries become Sponsor's property and will not be returned. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER. Grand Prize Details: Two round Trip Business Class tickets, on Swiss International Air Lines, a 4 night stay at the Zurich Marriott Hotel, and a 200 CHF voucher. Flights and Accommodations are subject to availability at the time of reservation.
Additional Terms:
The Two (2) round-trip Business Class tickets are valid for travel from any SWISS U.S. gateway (Boston, Chicago, Newark, New York, Los Angeles, Miami, and San Francisco) to Zurich, Switzerland. Transportation to the Swiss International Air Lines gateway nearest the winner's home is solely the responsibility of the winner. The following terms and conditions will apply to travel utilizing the promotional tickets:
I. Valid for travel on SWISS-operated flights only. The use of the tickets is not permitted on other Star Alliance members’ flights.
II. Reservations for travel on promotional tickets are subject to availability at time of booking and seats may not be available during peak travel periods (The tickets are valid for travel from July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023).
III. Fees, taxes and airport charges are responsibility of the winner.
IV. Tickets are non-refundable and any fees resulting from changes in flights, dates or itinerary, once the ticket has been issued are the responsibility of the winner and must be paid by credit card.
V. Tickets cannot be sold, bartered or made available for trade
VI. All tickets must be issued and travel must be completed within the term period of this agreement.
VII. Winner and travel companion must travel together on same travel itinerary.
VIII. Frequent flyer mileage may not be accrued.
IX. Full terms of the air travel conditions will be provided to winner by SWISS.
X. These conditions are subject to change without notice. All air transportation is governed by SWISS' Conditions of Carriage.
Blackout dates: Other blackout dates may apply as well. All travel must be completed by June 30, 2023. The Grand Prize is non-transferable and not for re-sale. There will be one winner. If the Grand Prize Winner is unable to accept the Grand Prize for any reason, prize will be forfeited. All expenses not specified in these Official Rules, including without limitation, meals, taxes, entry/exit fees, travelling fees, gratuities, incidentals and other expenses, are the Grand Prize Winner's (and guests) sole responsibility. The Grand Prize Winner will not receive any compensation if actual retail value of trip is less than projected approximate retail value. The Grand Prize Winner and guests must travel on same itinerary. Activities are subject to availability, weather conditions and operating times of each activity provider. Winner will be contacted by July 7, 2022 via the email provided. Winners are responsible for following all directions to redeem their tickets. Winners’ addresses are confidential and will not be shared by Passport. ANY TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OF ANY PRIZES ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER. All prizes will be awarded. All prizes are non-transferable, non-replaceable and cannot be redeemed for cash, bartered or sold. If applicable, winners will be required to sign and return a release of liability, affidavit of eligibility and, where lawful, a publicity consent agreement, all within 7 days of notification. By participating in the contest, entrants agree to the use of their names, voices and/or likenesses for the purpose of advertising, trade or promotion without further compensation, unless prohibited by law, and acknowledge as a condition of participation their names may be used in conjunction with the business of PASSPORT Magazine/passportmagazine.com. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim a prize(s) or fails to timely return the complete and executed affidavit and releases as required, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected.
JUDGING: Entries will be judged by a panel from PASSPORT and the Sponsor. One winner will be selected based on originality, creativity, and consistency with PASSPORT/the Sponsor’s brand image.
The participants' individual contact and demographic information is likely to be shared with participating sponsors, who may use this information as they wish. A participant's personal contact and demographic information will not be released to any third-party organization other than named sponsors without the user's consent, and PASSPORT Magazine will request that co-sponsors of such events uphold the privacy of the registrants' information by not distributing or sharing such information with any other businesses or organizations.
Release: By entering the Contest, entrants agree that the Sponsor, PASSPORT Magazine, and each of their respective parents, affiliates, distributors, advertising and promotion agencies and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents shall have no liability, and shall be held harmless, for any damage, losses or injury, including personal injury or death, resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of prize or participation in the Contest. Notice to entrants: In the event of a dispute over the identity of an online entrant, entry will be deemed submitted by the "Authorized Account Holder" of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. Authorized Account Holder means the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. The Sponsor is not responsible for: (i) lost, late, misdirected, damaged, or illegible entries; or (ii) error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site or any combination thereof; or (iii) any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in the Contest. By participating in the Contest, entrants (i) agrees to be bound by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements, and (ii) agree to be bound by the decisions of the Sponsor and the independent judging organization. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification from the Contest. The Sponsor reserves the right to: (i) disqualify any person it believes has intentionally violated these Official Rules; and (ii) terminate or modify entry into the Contest if it becomes technically corrupted, (including if a computer virus or system malfunction inalterably impairs its ability to conduct the Contest), and to select winner from among all eligible entries received prior to termination. LEGAL WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN INDIVIDUAL, WHETHER OR NOT AN ENTRANT, DELIBERATELY TO DAMAGE, DESTROY, TAMPER OR VANDALIZE THIS WEB SITE OR INTERFERE WITH THE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST, IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND DILIGENTLY PURSUE ALL REMEDIES AGAINST ANY SUCH ACTIVITY TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
