WIC Work Experience Connection Program - Host Registration

The WIC Work Experience Connection Program seeks to connect employers with students and schools.

Please complete the fields below to register your interest in hosting a female or gender diverse high school student for five days of work experience in term 2 or 3 in 2024. Registrations close 1 June 2024.

Compliance: In addition to completing the registration form below, to host an ACT Government school student, you must be registered with the ACT Government as a host employer. This is a one-off registration which will allow you to host other students in the future.

If you are not already registered with the ACT Government as a host, you will need to download and complete this form and submit the form to the ACT Government directly. For more information about filling out this form click here.

Please note: If you are connected with a student from schools other than ACT Government, your organisation will be required to complete compliance documentation specific to the relevant school.

WIC will connect you with any relevant school contacts after student registrations close on 1 June 2024.

Please note you could potentially host students from years 9-12. We will be asking students to write a small expression of interest to undertake work experience at host employers. This section will allow us to provide details to interested students and will help to match the right student to right work experience opportunity.
