EVENT RULES & FAQs FOR THE 2020 OUTDOOR MOVIE SERIES IN DOWNTOWN CLEARWATER

Do I need to get a ticket for everyone that will attend?

You will need to register the number of attendees in your group prior to attending the event. One ticket is needed per group. Tickets will be sent to registrants on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last, via email. 

Can I get a ticket on-site?

Limited tickets will be available at on-site, so we encourage people to reserve tickets online to ensure you receive a space. Please check www.downtownclearwater.com for the event, date, and times.

What if I don’t see my ticket in my inbox?

Please check your junk or spam folder.

Can I cancel my reservation?

Yes. Please check your confirmation or event coupon and send a email to howard.smith@myclearwater.com to cancel your ticket.

Do I have a limit to how many people can join me?

Due to social distancing requirements, space is limited and a maximum of five (5) persons will be allowed per registration. 

Will the movies take place if it rains?

No. The Movies will take place in good weather only. In the event of a severe weather forecast, you will be notified of cancellation via email the day prior.

Could my local event change?  

Locations, movies, or dates are subject to change. In the case of a change, you will be notified via email.

When should I arrive on-site?

Gates open at 5 p.m. Movies begin at 6 p.m. Parking and seating areas are first-come, first-served. Entry to the movies will be closed and no one will be allowed entrance once the movie begins for safety precautions. 

How will I be checked in?

Tickets will be scanned upon arrival. Please make sure your ticket is on your phone or printed. 

Can I bring chairs or blankets to sit for viewing?

Yes, the CRA recommend all attendees to bring seating as it will not be provided.

Will there be restrooms?

Clean and sanitized restrooms will be located and available on-site via Port-O-Let.

Can I bring my own drinks and snacks to the outdoor movies?

Yes. Concessions will also be available for purchase. Alcohol is strictly prohibited. 

Do I need to bring a mask?

We ask all attendees wear a mask. If wearing a mask per CDC recommendations, please make sure it:

· Fits snugly but comfortably against the side of the face.

·  Covers your nose and mouth entirely.

·  Is secured with ties or ear loops.

· Includes multiple layers of fabric.

How is the Community Redevelopment Agency keeping me safe?

All our onsite staff will be wearing PPE equipment and will maintain six feet of distance between other staff and attendees. All seating spots will be ten feet socially distant from each other. We ask if you are feeling sick, please stay home to protect yourself and others. Symptoms of COVID-19 include fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose. 

What should I do in case of an emergency?

Locate nearest staff, and we will assist.

What if I need to leave the movie early?

As a attendee, you are free at anytime to exit the park. When exiting, please adhere to social distance guidelines and limit any interaction that could interfere anyone viewing of the screen.
