“Why I Winter Differently Contest”

The Contest begins at 12:00am CT on 2/11/19 and ends at 11:59 pm CT on 3/10/19 (the “Promotional Period”). By submitting an entry, each entrant accepts and agrees to the Official Rules and warrants that his or her entry complies with all requirements set out in the Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor. Part of this promotion is a skill-based writing contest and consists of an entry form and writing challenge. Chance plays no part in the determination of the winner for the writing challenge part of the promotion.
Once a contest writing submission is entered, judging will consist of one round of evaluations at the end of the Promotional Period. A panel of judges selected by the Sponsor will select one entry from among all eligible entrants on the following criteria: (1) theme as it applies to the given writing challenge (50%); (2) creativity 25%; (3) writing quality 25%.
The winner of the writing challenge will receive a prize consisting of a complimentary one (1) month (30 consecutive day) stay for two adults in his/her own RV at one of the Encore RV resorts in Arizona, Florida, or Texas (valued at $2,000 USD).
In addition to the writing contest, when you properly complete and submit an entry during the Promotion Period, you will receive one entry into a drawing for the following prizes: (i) two prizes consisting of a complimentary 3-day-2night stay in your own RV or tent at one of the Encore RV resorts in Arizona, Florida, or Texas (valued at $250 USD); (ii) two prizes consisting of a complementary one (1) week (7 consecutive day) stay for two adults in your own RV or tent at one of the Encore RV resorts in Arizona, Florida, or Texas (valued at $500 USD). Winners will be chosen randomly and entrants will be notified by email within a week if they have won a prize. The odds of winning will depend on the number of entries, but are not expected to exceed 2:20,000 for prizes (i) and (ii). The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if an advertised prize becomes unavailable.
Each winner is responsible for federal and state taxes on the prize. The contest is limited to legal residents of the United States and Canada (excluding Quebec) who are 18 years or older. In addition, employees of Equity LifeStyle Properties, Inc. and its affiliates are not eligible to participate in this promotion. Limit one entry per person/email address per day. The Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this promotion at any time for any reason.
Except where prohibited by law, a potential winner must complete, sign and return to the Sponsor, within two business days, a Winner's Affidavit and Release in the form presented by the Sponsor. If the potential winner fails to sign and return the Winner's Affidavit and Release within the required time period, or otherwise fails to comply with these Rules, the potential winner will not receive any prize and an alternate winner will be chosen. Except where prohibited by law, the name and likenesses of each winner may be used by the Sponsor for promotional purposes without further compensation to the winner.
This promotion is sponsored by MHC Property Management, L.P. ("Sponsor"), Two North Riverside Plaza, Suite 800, Chicago, IL 60606. For the name, city and state of the winners, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the Sponsor. This promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.
Restrictions: The prizes with complimentary stays at Encore RV resorts in Arizona, Florida, or Texas are based on availability, reservations are required, and the stay must be completed by December 23, 2019. The stay must be one consecutive period of time and any unused portion of the prize will be forfeited. Holidays and special events are excluded. Prizes with complimentary stays exclude Orlando RV Resort, Peace River RV Resort, Three Flags RV Resort, Verde Valley Campground, Lake Conroe RV Campground, Medina Lake Campground, Lake Texoma Campground, Lake Tawakoni Campground, Lake Whitney Campground, Colorado River Campground, Bay Landing Campground. Rental units at Sunshine Key RV Resort and Marina and Fiesta Key RV Resort are also excluded.
