Living Shores Aquarium has two new residents- and they need names!

Meet our Common Snapping Turtle (female) and our Alligator Snapping Turtle (male). Both come to us from the Minnesota Herpetological Society. Our Common Snapping Turtle is approximately 20 years old, and weighs 50 lbs. Our Alligator Snapping Turtle is a juvenile at 7 years of age, and only weighs 20 lbs.

In Part 1 of our two-part sweepstakes, participants submitted their best names suggestions. In Part 2, it's time to vote for the best! Vote for your favorite name suggestions & you'll be entered to win 4 tickets to the aquarium. We'll announce the winning names after the conclusion of the Sweepstakes once the vote have been tallied!
