THE ART OF RACING 2025
Thank you for your interest in The Art of Racing, a unique opportunity to be part of the 150th Running of the Preakness Stakes. Your original, two-dimensional artwork must capture the spirit of thoroughbred racing, the Preakness Stakes, and Pimlico Race Course. Artificially generated artwork (AI, Midjourney, etc.) will not be considered. The call for submissions will close on Friday, March 14, at 11:59 PM Eastern Time.
Public voting opens on Saturday, March 15, and continues through Friday, March 28. The top 10 vote-getters will advance to the finalist round, where a panel of judges will select the winning artwork.
The winning artwork will debut at the historic Preakness 150 on Saturday, May 17, 2025. This commemorative piece will be featured on official Preakness 150 merchandise, with all proceeds supporting community development through Park Heights Renaissance.
