E Tū Whānau Song Competition 2018
No matter how big or small, we can all make a difference and be responsible for creating positive change within our whānau, hapū, iwi and community. E Tū Whānau is a movement for positive change in response to unacceptable levels of violence in NZ. It's about all of us taking responsibility to create the change we want, including changing bad attitudes and behaviour, and nurturing and celebrating the things that make whānau strong.
Music has the power to move us, to make us laugh or cry, to capture our hearts and minds, and to inspire change. Enter the E Tū Whānau Song Competition 2018 to make a positive difference and to be in to win some great cash prizes!
We want you to write an original song that inspires positive change incorporating one or more of the six E Tū Whānau values, ie: Aroha, Whanaungatanga, Whakapapa, Mana/Manaaki, Kōrero Awhi, Tikanga.
ENTRY to the competition opens on Monday 14th May 2018 at 10am, and closes on Sunday 17th June 2018 at 5pm.
VOTING opens on Monday 21st May 2018 at 10am, and closes on Sunday 24th June at 5pm. Voters are allowed to vote once per day for any number of songs (including their own) in the voting gallery on the E Tū Whānau facebook page.
PLEASE NOTE that it is in your best interests to get your entry in as soon as possible, in particular before voting opens, in order to maximise the opportunity for people to vote for your song and for more votes.
