UNISTELLAR PHOTO CONTEST - RULES
Article 1 - Contest organization
Contest period: From March 1st to March 28th 2024 (00:00 UTC).
Contest theme: Share with us your most unforgettable solar eclipse memory. Whether it's a stunning photo or a heartfelt story, let your experience inspire others. Encourage your friends and family to support your entry by voting, which will increase your chances of winning an ODYSSEY PRO: the new UNISTELLAR smart telescope for exploring the cosmos, valued at $3,999 and its Smart Solar Filter to get the most detailed view of the sun, valued at $199.
Article 2- Organizing company
UNSITELLAR, a company with share capital of €34,570, headquartered at 5, avenue Marcel Leclerc 13008 MARSEILLE, registered in the MARSEILLE Trade and Companies Register under number 812 339 356, hereinafter referred to as the "Organizing Company", is organizing a photo contest on Woobox https://woobox.com/eg37eq, from March 1 to 28, 2024, in accordance with the terms and conditions described in these rules. The contest is also accessible with the hashtag #unistellarcontesteclipse from Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. This operation is neither organized nor sponsored by Meta or Twitter.
Article 3- Participants
This contest is open to all natural persons of legal age residing in the following regions: North America, South America, European Union, United Kingdom, Japan and Oceania.
Participation in this game implies a loyal attitude and acceptance of the present rules. Any attempt to circumvent the present rules, and more generally any fraudulent behavior, will result in the immediate and irrevocable deletion of the disputed entry.
Participation in the contest is free, with no obligation to purchase.
By taking part in the competition, each participant certifies on his or her honor:
- he/she is the author of the photo submitted. Photographs must be original and unretouched. The Organizing Company will not be held responsible in the event of any dispute or litigation concerning the ownership of the photo.
- that it has the written consent of the persons photographed when their photo may call into question the rights of persons to their image. Any photograph representing one or more identifiable persons will be presented under the full responsibility of its author.
Article 4- How to enter
Use our contest link https://woobox.com/eg37eq to submit your photo and email address. Then share the link with your friends and on your social networks to get as many votes as possible.
Accepted format : Photos should be in png or jpeg format.
Number of entries: Each participant may submit as many photos as they wish, but each photo may only be submitted once.
If we suspect cheating in the voting of photos: fake likes or fake accounts, we will have the right to remove your entry.
Article 5- Selection of the winner
The photo with the most "likes", respecting the "Share your solar eclipse memory" theme and complying with the contest rules wins.
The winner will be contacted by private message on March 29, 2024.
The Organizing Company will confirm the nature of the prize won and how to claim it. Any winner who does not reply within eight days will be deemed to have forfeited his/her prize, which will be awarded to a new winner.
Article 6- Description of prizes
The first prize is an Odyssey Pro + sun filter, worth a total of $4198, with free delivery.
Prizes are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-assignable and non-transferable.
Article 7- Conditions of photography - Prohibited contents :
Advertising for other brands will not be accepted.
Content containing nudity, insults, hatred or any other content that offends public decency, etc., will not be accepted.
Photos inciting misuse of eclipse-viewing equipment, which could result in injury, will not be accepted.
AI-generated photos, will not be accepted.
Prohibited contents will be blocked every day.
Article 8- Use of the photograph by the Organizing Body
By taking part in the competition and accepting the rules, the participant transfers to the organizer, non-exhaustively and free of charge, the rights of reproduction, representation and exploitation of the photograph submitted, for any use for advertising or commercial purposes on any medium of the participant's choice. Under no circumstances may this use entitle the participant to any remuneration whatsoever.
Article 9- RGPD
The Organizing Company processes the personal data required to manage the Contest in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data
In the context of the contest covered herein, the Organizing Company may be required to collect personal information.
The nominative information communicated by participants is essential for the organizers to process the participants. This information will not be communicated or transferred to third parties. Personal data will be processed in accordance with the French Data Protection Act of 06 January 1978.
Article 10 - Additional clause
The contest is subject to a minimum of 100 participants. If this threshold is not reached, the contest may be canceled.
The Organizing Company reserves the right, at any time, to extend the duration of the contest, to postpone its date, or to modify its conditions, without participants being able to hold the Organizing Company liable in this respect; subject to informing participants by any appropriate means. In the event of force majeure, the Organizing Body reserves the right to cancel all or part of the present operation, without participants being able to incur any liability as a result.
Article 11 - Acceptance of rules - Disputes
Participation in the contest implies full acceptance of these rules.
By entering this contest, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood and accepted all the rules set out above.
Should one or more provisions of these rules be declared null and void or inapplicable in whole or in part, such nullity or inapplicability shall not affect the validity or applicability of the remainder of these rules. The law applicable to this contract is French law. Any dispute arising in connection with the contest will be subject to an attempt at amicable settlement. If no agreement is reached within thirty days, the dispute will be referred to the competent courts, except in the case of public policy provisions to the contrary. No further disputes will be entertained one month after the end of the disputed game.
