Mineral County Photo Contest – Official Rules 

1. Only one submission per photographer. All photos must be original work by the entrant. No third party may own or control any materials the photo contains, and the photo must not infringe upon the trademark, copyright, moral rights, intellectual rights, or rights of privacy of any entity or person.

2. The photo must be in its original state and cannot be altered in any way, including but not limited to removing, adding, reversing, or distorting subjects within the frame. Must be submitted in full color, must be a .jpeg or .jpg file format with a minimum of 600 DPI as it will be used for printing.

3. By entering the contest, entrants agree to grant Financial Horizons Credit Union the right to use your picture or photograph in any and all forms of media and in all manners. You understand that these images may be used or posted by Financial Horizons Credit Union or its staff for any purposes without your express permission. The winner agrees that Financial Horizons will alter the photo to fit the desired location and using the color options detailed above. If the final winner is under the age of 18, parental release will be required.  

4. Photo must be taken in Mineral County and be a landscape image that does not include people or pets. Use the approximate location of the photo in the description (i.e. Cory Canyon, Lucky Boy, Walker Lake). Any entry not meeting those specifications will be rejected.

5. No explicit pictures or inappropriate language, images that contain them will be removed.

6. Entries will only be accepted through the designated channel. No late entries will be accepted.

7. Only one vote per IP address.

8. At the end of the public voting period, Financial Horizons Credit Union will choose a winning image from the three top-voted submissions. The final winner will be contacted via the email address provided during the entry. Final unveiling of winning entry will be during the grand opening of the building in November.
