CONTEST PERIOD: Ball Park® Buns’ Swing Big for the 2024 Little League Baseball® World Series Contest (the “Contest”) starts on June 10, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on July 7, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. ET (“Contest Period”).
ELIGIBILITY: Contest is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or at least the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence with a valid driver’s license at time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of Bimbo Bakeries USA, Inc. (“Sponsor”), Vault Communications, Woobox, their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, promotion and advertising agencies, and members of their immediate families (spouse and parents, children and siblings and each of their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and persons living in the same household, whether or not related, of such employees, are not eligible to enter or win. If you have received a prize from Sponsor within the past six (6) months in connection with another Sponsor promotion, you are not eligible to participate in this Contest or receive a prize. HOW TO ENTER: During the Contest Period, to enter, complete and submit the online registration form provided at www.BallParkBuns.com/SwingBig, including an essay no more than 500 words in length that explains why you should be selected to attend Championship Weekend at the 2024 Little League Baseball World Series. All required fields on the entry form must be completed and received by July 7, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. ET to be considered. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated means and entries by any means which subvert the entry process are void. Limit one (1) entry per person using only one (1) email address throughout the Contest Period. Entries received from any person or email address in excess of the limitation stated above will be void.
REQUIREMENTS OF ENTRIES: Entry may not contain, as determined by the Sponsor, in its sole discretion, any content that:
The Sponsor reserves the right to reject any entry, which Sponsor determines, in its sole and absolute discretion, does not meet the above criteria or is otherwise offensive or is not in keeping with the Sponsor’s image and reputation. Sponsor reserves the right to remove any entry without prior notice.
By submitting an entry, each entrant acknowledges and agrees that (a) Sponsor may obtain many entries in connection with the Contest or other contests staged or promoted by Sponsor, (b) such entries may be similar or identical in theme, idea, format or other respects to other entries submitted in connection with the Contest or entries for other contests sponsored by Sponsor or submitted for other reasons or other materials developed by or on behalf of Sponsor and (c) entrant waives any and all claims entrant may have had, may have, or may have in the future that any entry or other works accepted, reviewed or used by Sponsor may be similar to entrant’s entry, or that any compensation is due to entrant in connection with such entry or other works used by Sponsor.
By submitting an entry, entrant hereby grants permission for the entry to be posted at www.BallParkBuns.com or other websites and used in press materials. Entrant agrees that Released Parties (as defined below) are not responsible for any unauthorized use of entries by third parties. Released Parties do not guarantee the posting of any entry and may remove a posted entry at any time.
JUDGING PERIOD: All eligible entries received throughout the Entry Period will be judged based on the following criteria: (i) creativity (35%); (ii) overall appeal and demonstrated desire/need (35%); and (iii) originality (30%) (the “Judging Criteria”). The one (1) entry with the highest score will be deemed the potential Grand Prize winner, subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. In the event of a tie, an additional, “tie-breaking” judge will determine the potential winner based on the criteria listed herein. Sponsor reserves the right not to award the prize if, in its sole discretion, it does not receive a sufficient number of eligible and qualified entries.
WINNER NOTIFICATION: Potential winner will be notified by Sponsor or Vault Communications via phone, mail and/or email on or about July 19, 2024. Potential winner will be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release, and, where lawful, a publicity release and must return any/all requested documents fully executed within five (5) days to maintain prize eligibility. If such documents are not returned within the specified time period, prize notification is returned as undeliverable, Sponsor is unable to contact potential winner or the potential winner is not in compliance with these Official Rules, such prize will be forfeited and, at Sponsor’s discretion, an alternate winner may be selected.
GRAND PRIZE (1): Winner will receive a trip that includes three (3) nights, four (4) days hotel accommodations for themselves and up to three (3) guests in Williamsport, PA from August 23-26, 2024. The trip also includes roundtrip, coach class air transportation for winner and guests from a major U.S. gateway airport near winner’s residence to an airport near destination, free admission to the Little League Baseball World Series for the duration of the prized stay, up to eight (8) meal vouchers (two (2) per person) to use at the Little League Baseball World Series Complex, a tour of the Little League Museum and Complex, a $500 gift card to the Little League gift shop, Little League® Prize Pack, and a $1,250 general purpose gift card which may be used towards meals and ground transportation while on trip. The total ARV of the Grand Prize: $15,000. Any additional air or ground transportation necessary to redeem prize, or additional fees including service charges, meals, beverages, souvenirs, incidentals, gratuities, phone calls, travel insurance, rental car insurance, and any and all other expenses not specifically mentioned herein are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winner and guests are responsible for and must already own all necessary travel authorizations such as passports, visas, and/or government identification. No transfer, assignment, change of the prize, or cash substitution is permitted, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. If the winner cannot be contacted or is disqualified, the Sponsor reserves the right to determine an alternate winner in its sole discretion. Unclaimed prize will not be awarded. Other restrictions may apply. If the winner resides within a 200-mile radius of Williamsport, PA, ground transportation will be provided in lieu of air transportation and no compensation or substitution will be provided in lieu thereof. Actual value may vary based on point of departure and number of guests on trip. In the event winner elects not to travel with an adult guest or elects to travel with less than two (2) minor guests no compensation or substitution will be provided in lieu thereof.
PRIZE CONDITIONS: Exact hotel to be determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion. All federal, state and local taxes and all other costs associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided are the sole responsibility of the winner. Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Sponsor. Winner may not substitute any prize. Winner may assign or transfer prize only with the approval of the Sponsor, which may only be done at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Winner may not redeem any prize for cash, but Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value. All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
Note: Grand Prize winner and his/her guest(s) irrevocably waives all claims against the Released Parties and agrees that the Released Parties will have no liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in this Promotion, the prizes awarded, personal injury, or wrongful death, a potentially heightened risk of exposure to communicable diseases, viruses, bacteria or illnesses and the causes thereof, and sickness arising as a result of the Grand Prize winner participating in the Promotion and related activities, wherever, whenever or however the same may occur. Grand Prize winner fully understands that (a) communicable diseases are extremely contagious and there is an inherent risk of exposure to such diseases in any place where people are or have been present; (b) no precautions, including the protocols that will be implemented from time to time by any/all travel providers or those providing accommodations can eliminate the risk of exposure to communicable diseases; (c) while people of all ages and health conditions may be adversely affected by communicable diseases, certain people have been identified by public health authorities as having greater risk based on age and/or underlying medical conditions; and (d) exposure to communicable diseases can result in being subject to quarantine requirements, illness, disability, other short-term and long-term health effects, and/or death, regardless of age or health condition.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: By participating, each entrant agrees: (a) to abide by these Official Rules and decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects relating to this Contest; (b) to release, discharge and hold harmless Sponsor, Vault Communications, Woobox, Little League Baseball, Incorporated, their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, promotion and advertising agencies, and the respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents and representatives of the foregoing (collectively, “Released Parties”) from any and all injuries, liability, losses and damages of any kind to persons, including death, or property resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from entrant’s participation in the Contest or any Contest-related activity or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize; and (c) to the use of his/her name, voice, entry, and/or likeness for programming, advertising, publicity and promotional purposes in any and all media, now or hereafter known, worldwide and on the Internet, and in perpetuity by Sponsor, its affiliates and agencies, without compensation (unless prohibited by law) or additional consents from entrant or any third party and without prior notice, approval or inspection, and to execute specific consent to such use.
LICENSE/USE OF ENTRIES: By submitting an entry, and to the extent allowed by law, you grant the Released Parties a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sub licensable, unconditional and transferable license to edit, modify, cut, rearrange, add to, delete from, reproduce, encode, store, modify, copy, transmit, publish, post, broadcast, display, adapt, exhibit and/or otherwise use or reuse your entry, name, and biographical material including, but not limited to, all materials submitted in connection with the Contest in any and all media, throughout the world, and in any manner, for trade, advertising, promotional, commercial, or any other purposes without further review, notice, approval, consideration, or compensation to entrant or any third party.
MISCELLANEOUS: Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, inaccurate, stolen, delayed, misdirected, undelivered, or garbled entries, or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Contest, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Contest, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prize, or in any Contest-related materials. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest. Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to any person's computer related to or resulting from participating in this Contest or downloading materials from or use of the website. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of the Contest or website, who act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or who are in violation of these Official Rules, as solely determined by Sponsor, will be disqualified and all associated entries will be void. Should any portion of the Contest be, in Sponsor’s sole opinion, compromised for any reason, including virus, worms, bugs, epidemic, pandemic, any Act of God, non-authorized human intervention or other causes which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission of entries, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Contest (or portion thereof) and, if terminated, at its discretion, select the potential winner from among all non-suspect, eligible entries received prior to action taken.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK ANY AND ALL AVAILABLE REMEDIES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES) FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.
ARBITRATION: Except where prohibited by law, as a condition of participating in this Contest, entrant agrees that (1) any and all disputes and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest, or prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by final and binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association and held at the AAA regional office nearest the entrant; (2) the Federal Arbitration Act shall govern the interpretation, enforcement and all proceedings at such arbitration; and (3) judgment upon such arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction. Under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental or consequential damages, or any other damages, including attorneys' fees, other than entrant's actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e., costs associated with participating in this Contest), and entrant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
CHOICE OF LAW: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the substantive laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA.
WINNER’S NAME: For the name of the winner, available after July 27, 2024, mail a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Swing Big for the 2024 Little League World Series Contest Winner, 255 Business Center Drive, Horsham, PA 19044. Requests must be received no later than August 27, 2024.
