We’re celebrating real people, real stories, and real moments that reflect the true spirit of the arctic. This year’s theme “Faces Of The North” invites you to submit a photo that represents the strength, values and culture of your community through the seasons.

1st Prize – $2500 Co-op gift card & your photo on the 2026 Arctic Co-ops calendar cover.

2nd Prize – $1500 Co-op gift card & your photo in the 2026 Arctic Co-ops calendar. 

3rd Prize – $1000 Co-op gift card & your photo in the 2026 Arctic Co-ops calendar.

4th – 33rd Prize – $100 Co-op gift card & your photo in the 2026 Arctic Co-ops calendar.

You can submit more than one photo, each entry is a chance to share a different story.

1. Community & Connection - Spending time with family, friends, and neighbors. Helping each other, sharing food, and being together as one community.
2. Tradition & Culture - The ways of life passed down from Elders, like hunting, sewing, carving, drum dancing, or speaking your language. These things show who you are and where you come from.
3. Gratitude & Reflection - Being thankful for the land, the animals, the seasons, and the people around you. Taking quiet time to think about the past, the present, and the future.
4. Resilience & Renewal - Staying strong during hard times and finding new strength to move forward. Learning, healing, and growing—like spring coming after a long winter.

THIS ARCTIC CO-OPERATIVES LIMITED (“ARCTIC CO-OPS”) 2026 CALENDAR CONTEST IS INTENDED FOR RESIDENTS OF CANADA ONLY (EXCLUDING QUEBEC) AND IS GOVERNED BY CANADIAN LAW. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

How to Enter – No purchase necessary. To enter, entrants may submit photo(s) electronically at www.coopcalendarcontest.com (the “Website”). Submissions must be high-resolution digital photos (300 DPI or 8 MP), in horizontal/landscape orientation. By submitting, you confirm that you are the sole owner of the photo(s) and have obtained written consent from all identifiable individuals in the photo (or their parent/legal guardian if they are minors) for use of their image. The contest starts at 12:00 PM CDT, July 25, 2025.

Entries – All entries become the property of Arctic Co-ops and will not be returned. By entering, each entrant (i) grants Arctic Co-ops a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use the photo in any media; (ii) waives all moral rights to the entry in favour of Arctic Co-ops; and (iii) releases and holds harmless Arctic Co-ops and its affiliates, agents, employees, and successors from any claims related to publicity rights, defamation, invasion of privacy, or intellectual property. Arctic Co-ops reserves the right to modify or remove any entry at its sole discretion.

Prizes – Thirty-three (33) prizes:

 1st Prize: $2,500 Co-op Gift Card + photo on cover (value: $2,500)

 2nd Prize: $1,500 Co-op Gift Card + photo in calendar (value: $1,500)

 3rd Prize: $1,000 Co-op Gift Card + photo in calendar (value: $1,000)

 Prizes 4–33: $100 Co-op Gift Card + photo in collage (value: $100 each)

 No cash alternatives. Prizes must be accepted as awarded. Arctic Co-ops may substitute a prize of equal value if necessary.

Selection of Winners – The Arctic Co-ops Communications Department will select thirty-three (33) winners based on creativity (33%), visual appeal (33%), and overall impression (34%). Winners will be selected August 29, 2025, and contacted by email. If no response is received within 48 hours, another winner will be selected. Proof of ID may be required. One prize per person/email address. Prizes will be mailed. Arctic Co-ops is not liable for lost or stolen prizes unless caused by negligence.

Contest Closing Date – August 24, 2025, at 11:59 PM CDT.

Eligibility – Open to Canadian residents (excluding Quebec) aged 18+. Employees of Arctic Co-ops, immediate family or those residing with them, and those with unpaid debts to Arctic Co-ops or its members are not eligible.

Odds – Odds depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Release & Waiver – Winners may need to sign a release form to claim the prize. Failure to comply, results in disqualification.

Final Decisions – Entrants agree to abide by these rules. Arctic Co-ops decisions are final and binding. Arctic Co-ops may amend rules or disqualify entrants to maintain fairness.

No Liability – Arctic Co-ops and its affiliates are not liable for any injury, damage, or loss related to participation or prize use, nor for any technical or system issues affecting entry or administration.

Personal Information – By entering, you consent to Arctic Co-ops using your name, image, or statements for promotional use without further compensation. Personal data will only be used to administer the contest and as otherwise described herein.

Laws – Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws. Void where prohibited.

Cancellation/Modification – Arctic Co-ops may cancel, suspend, or modify the contest if it becomes compromised in any way.

Email Disputes – In email disputes, the authorized account holder of the email at time of entry is deemed the entrant.

Errors & Omissions – Arctic Co-ops is not responsible for any errors or omissions and may cancel the contest in such cases.
