Parade Rules

All entries must be fully lighted. Use signage to identify floats and make key lettering on floats and banners at least 12 inches high for visibility for judges. Please keep the driver with the vehicle at all times. When walking, participants should have flashlights,   reflective gear, etc. Please do not throw candy into the crowd due to safety concerns. Candy and other items may be handed out to spectators along the route. Winners will be contacted the week after the parade and announced on-air.

No live Santas allowed. 

Insurance Waiver

We (I) hereby assume all risk of bodily injury or property damage that we (I) may incur in participating in the lighted Christmas parade and we (I) hereby, for my organization, myself, my family, my heirs, executors, and administrators do hereby expressly and forever waive/release any and all claims against and agree to hold harmless the lighted Christmas parade, River Radio of Poplar Bluff (Clear 94 KKLR, Z95 The Bone KJEZ, Hot 92.9 KLSC and Today’s Talk 930 KWOC) and staff, the City of Poplar Bluff, agents, representatives, successors, or assigns of any kind from any and all claims which may be made for any cause whatsoever arising as a result of, or in connection with the participation of the herein mentioned event. We (I) agree to all rules and will abide by any instructions given to us (me) by the lighted Christmas parade volunteers and staff.
