FULL Retro Film Project Contest Rules:

Release Agreement:

I, the undersigned, hereby grant the Retro Film Project and its affiliates the right to use, publish, and display the submitted photos for promotional, marketing, and other purposes related to the photo contest, including potential inclusion in a compilation zine. I understand that I retain the copyright to my photos but grant the Retro Film Project a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the photos as described.

I affirm that the photos submitted are my original work and do not infringe on the rights of any third party. I also confirm that I have obtained the necessary permissions from any individuals featured in the photos.

 

Photo Contest Rules

Eligibility:

  1. The contest is open to all photographers, amateur or professional.
  2. Each contestant can submit1 photo Per Zine.

Submission Guidelines:

  1. All photos must be submitted digitally in JPEG or PNG format.
  2. Photos should be high resolution (minimum 300 dpi).
  3. Submissions must be sent to [email@example.com] by [Submission Deadline Date].
  4. Each photo must have a title and a brief description (maximum 50 words).

Photo Content:

  1. Photos must be original and taken by the contestant.
  2. Photos must not contain any offensive or inappropriate content, including sexually explicit nudity, drug use, or violence.
  3. Photos may contain non-sexually explicit nudity but must adhere to the guidelines set forth by the contest.
  4. Photos must not infringe on the rights of any third party, including copyright or privacy rights.

Voting and Selection:

  1. The community will vote to select the top 3 photos. Voting will take place from [Voting Start Date] to [Voting End Date].
  2. The top 3 photos chosen by community votes will automatically be included in the final selection.
  3. The Retro Film Project selection committee will choose the remaining photos for inclusion.

Prizes:

  1. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 photos selected by the community.
  2. Additional prizes may be awarded at the discretion of the Retro Film Project selection committee.

Usage Rights:

  1. By entering the contest, contestants grant the Retro Film Project a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, publish, and display the submitted photos for promotional, marketing, and other purposes related to the contest, including potential inclusion in a compilation zine.
  2. Contestants retain the copyright to their photos.

Miscellaneous:

  1. The Retro Film Project reserves the right to modify or cancel the contest at any time.
  2. By entering the contest, contestants agree to abide by these rules and the decisions of the Retro Film Project selection committee. By submitting a photo, you grant Retro Film Project the right to use, publish, and reproduce the photo on our website, social media platforms, and in any other promotional materials. You confirm that this photo is from film and you have the rights to the photo and that it does not infringe on any copyright laws. Entrants retain the copyright to their own work..

You also agree to allow the Retro Film Project to sell any zines that include your images, both in the current contest and in any future compilation zines. As a participant, you will be provided with an affiliate link, through which you can earn compensation based on sales generated by your promotion of the zine. All decisions made by the Retro Film Project are final.
