Some companions don’t need a rideshare account to earn five stars. Star Sidekick (Pet of the Month) is your opportunity to showcase the animal that keeps you grounded, whether they’re riding with you or waiting at the door when your shift ends. Each month, we’ll feature one standout pet submitted by a driver in the Octopus community. The selected pet will be recognized in The Driver’s Seat and earn a cash bonus.
How it Works
Submit an original photo of your chosen pet, along with a brief description (1-3 sentences) telling us about their personality or the story behind the image. We’re looking for authenticity, creativity, and connection.
Rules for Submission
- Photo must be original and current, taken during the current contest month.
- While multiple entries per driver are allowed, Only ONE pet per photo, regardless of how many animals you own. If submissions with multiple animals are received, they will not be considered eligible for submission and will be rejected without notice. This includes multiple images, grid layouts, or variations of the same animal in one photo.
- NO PEOPLE!!! Photo must feature only one (1) animal. Any image that includes a human (even partially), will not be considered eligible for submission and will be rejected without notice.
- All entries must be submitted via the designated form HERE. Submissions through email, text, social media, or any other method will not be considered eligible for submission and will be rejected without notice.
- A short written description is required with your photo. This will be factored into the winner review process.
