The 2017 Grilla Grills Online Recipe Contest -- Official Rules

1. HOW TO ENTER: To enter submit a Recipe through the contest specific WooBox link. Entries will be accepted online from 8:00am CST TO 11:59pm CST during the dates of the contests. These dates are published individually for each contest at Facebook.com/worldfoodchampionships and www.worldfoodchampionships.com. No mechanically reproduced, facsimile or photocopied entries allowed. Original recipes only. Not responsible for lost, late, damaged, misdirected, illegible or incomplete entries, all of which are void. Participants must infuse the required products in their entry which can be found in the contest’s details at www.worldfoodchampionships.com. Entries become World Food Championships’ (WFC) property and will not be returned.

2. ELIGIBILITY: Open to first responders, military and reserve 18 years of age or older excluding employees of WFC, its respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, related companies and advertising and promotion agencies, and the families and/or household members of each of the above. NOTE: Residents of Canada are not eligible to enter the Food Champ Online Recipe Contests. The Canadian Food Championships (www.canadianfoodchampionships.ca) retains exclusive rights for Canadian qualifiers into WFC. WFC reserves the right to enter into exclusive agreements with events that allow them to become the only WFC qualifying event in a state, province and/or country. This means WFC will not permit registration from a competitor who falls outside the guidelines of our exclusive event agreements. Submissions must include the sponsored product, as advertised, to be eligible, however no purchase of Grilla Grills is necessary. All entries must be an original creation, not duplicated or copied.

3. JUDGING: Winners are chosen from all eligible entries received and will be named after the judging period. Judging will be conducted by no more than three (3) representatives of WFC and two (2) Grilla Grills representatives whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this contest. Winners do not need to be present to win. Winners will be notified within nine (9) business days after the designated contest period ends.

4. PRIZES: There will be 10 winners from this contest. The winners will be qualified to compete at 2017 WFC for the “Thrilla at the Grilla” Challenge presented by Grilla Grills. Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received prior to each drawing.

5. PRIZE ACCEPTANCE: Prizes are not transferable. Taxes on Prizes are sole responsibility of winner. Winners may be required to complete and sign a Form W-9 before any prize can be awarded. No Prize substitutions or cash redemptions allowed except by Sponsor, who may substitute a Prize of equal or greater value if advertised Prize becomes unavailable. Winners may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility/release of liability and publicity (where permitted) within a time period designated by Sponsor, or Prize may be forfeited. By accepting Prizes, winner(s) consents to use of names, email addresses, and likenesses for advertising purposes worldwide without limitation and without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. By accepting prize, winner further agrees to release Sponsor and its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, related companies and advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees and agents from any and all liability, loss or damage of any kind arising out of or in connection with their participation in this sweepstakes or with respect to awarding, receipt, possession, use and/or misuse of any Prize. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the announcement of any prize of the promotion.

6. PRIZE FORFEITURE: Should a winner choose to forfeit their prize and not compete at the 2017 “Thrilla at the Grilla” Challenge, WFC reserves the right to select the next highest placing contestant of that contest to receive the Prize and earn qualification to compete in the 2017 Event.

7. RIGHTS: Winning recipes will become the perpetual property of WFC, which may promote, publish or produce in any manner or medium it so chooses. As sponsor of a Food Champ online contest, Partner is granted the right to promote and market the recipes, recipe images and winner’s name(s) in any marketing, social media or traditional media for a period of twelve (12) months. The winning recipes will also be published (with credit) on the Grilla Grills' website at www.grillagrills.com.

8. WINNERS’ LIST: For the names of prize winners, available nine (9) days after contest period ends, send an e-mail to info@worldfoodchampionships.com.
