Competition Terms and Conditions

• The promoter is Air Canada (Promoter).
• All references to time in this document are a reference to the local time in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia on the date stated. The promotion commences at 9am on 1 December 2021 and closes at 11.59pm on 24 November 2021 (Promotion Period).
• You are eligible to enter if you submit a valid entry and agree to the Terms and Conditions.
• The only way to submit a valid entry is by the following: 
  • Registering for the competition at https://woobox.com/k9q2zk
  •  and completing all fields with valid details; 
  • Answer the competition question “Tell us in 25 words or less, where do you want Air Canada to take you and why?”
  • By reading and agreeing to the Terms and Conditions. 
• Entry is open to Australian registered travel consultants over the age of 18 (Eligible Entrants), excluding directors, management, employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its related bodies corporate and registered travel companions of employees of the Promoter and its related bodies corporate.
• The winners will be notified in January 2022 via email.
• All valid entries will be judged on creativity merits by Air Canada. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• There will be two winners.
• The prizes on offer:
  • Two travel agents and their chosen companion will win Economy tickets fr SYD to YVR each
  • Two travel agents and their chosen companion will also win: 3 nights Vancouver accommodation at Sheraton Wall Centre (including complimentary double upgrade to a Deluxe Corner Room), a Vancouver Attraction Pass for 2ppl, 3 nights Whistler accommodation at Fairmont Chateau Whistler (Blackout dates: Jan 1-15, 2022, Feb 18-27, 2022, Apr 15/16/17, 2022, May 20/21/22/23, 2022, July 1, 2022,  July 29/30/31/Aug 1, 2022, Sep 2/3/4/5, 2022, Oct 7/8/9/10, 2022, November 11, 2022, Dec 15-Jan 15, 2023) or 3 nights Whistler accommodation at The Westin Resort & Spa, Whistler (Validity Jan 2022 – Jan 2023; Blackout dates: Feb 19-26, 2022, Mar 3-5, 2022, Mar 25-28, 2022, Dec 17-31, 2022), Vallea Lumina (a multimedia night walk) for winner plus a guest – compliments of The Adventure Group, Audain Art Museum admission for winner plus a guest – compliments of the Audain Art Museum, Ziptrek Eagle Tour for winner plus a guest – compliments of Ziptrek Ecotours, Whistler Blackcomb sightseeing ticket for winner plus a guest – compliments of Whistler Blackcomb. 
  • The Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value.
• The prize cannot be utilised during the following Air Canada blackout periods:
  • 15 December 2021 to 10 January 2022
  • 22 June 2022 to 02 July 2022
  • 07 July 2022 to 05 September 2022
  • 14 December 2022 to 09 January 2023
• In order to be eligible to win, entrants must be eligible to travel to Canada and have a valid passport.
• The prize does not included: Transportation between Whistler & Vancouver 
• The winners will pay for applicable taxes & surcharges

1. All applicable fees, such as airport/departure taxes, security charges or other third party fees, taxes or charges are the sole responsibility of the bearer of the ticket.

• The winners are responsible for any Covid related expenses, such as, but not limited to PCR testing.
• The winners will be responsible for obtaining their own travel insurance prior to departure from Australia.
• The prize is not exchangeable or redeemable for cash or other goods or services. 
• The prize cannot be transferred to any other person, unless agreed to by the Promoter. It is a condition of accepting a prize that the winners accept the conditions of use of that prize. 
• By entering the competition you are indicating your consent to having your name and photo include in a winner announcement in Karryon's e-newsletter.
