One of our many adventures this past year was the Super/Harvest moon. Although it was quite windy we did get to get a good look at it from the top of a hill in Knox County Ne.

This past summer I got to watch this little wax wing grow up on my front porch. It was a bitter sweet day when it flew off but seeing it grow from a small fuzzy ball of feathers to a beautiful bird was a wonderful experience. My family affectionately called it Walter.

This photo captures a wintry downtown scene with a snow-dusted sidewalk that is lined with trees wrapped in bright holiday lights. Light snow blows through the air, adding a cozy, festive atmosphere to the cityscape. Tall city buildings, including the Omaha World-Herald and the WoodmenLife building, but it's the First National Bank Tower that stands the tallest shining bright light from its spire.
