Terms and Conditions:

1 x winner will receive a private film screening of their choice at the Dendy Cinemas location of their choice for themselves and 20 guests. Prize cannot be redeemed at Dendy Powerhouse Outdoor Cinema, Dendy Canberra IMAX® or any Dendy Premium Lounge sessions. The date, time, and film of choice will be determined with the winner by the Promoter once the draw has occurred. The film must be a title currently playing at Dendy Cinemas at the time of the screening date. The private screening cannot take place after 5pm on Fridays, any time on Saturdays and Sundays, or a public holiday. The total prize value is approximately $1,000AUD. The Promoter is Dendy Cinemas Australia. Entry is open to Australian residents only. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families and the agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. The competition will open once the Oscars nominees are announced on Friday, January 23rd and close 11:59pm AEDT Sunday 15th March 2026. The Entrants are limited to one entry per person. The Prize winners will be selected by 11:59pm AEST Sunday 22nd March 2026. The prize winners will be notified via the email address provided upon entry. Additional information may be required in order to facilitate prize fulfilment. The prize winners will have 6 months to arrange their private screening from the initial date of contact. Each entry will be individually judged based on the results of the Academy Awards. If there is a tie between one or more winners, the judges will decide the winner based on originality, literary and creative merits of their answers to the 25 words or less question; “Why do you think your Best Picture pick will win?”. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of the competition. The Promoter is not responsible for any technical malfunction that would prohibit entry. Dendy Cinemas will not allow any third party to access information of any participant.
