Terms and Conditions

Information on how to enter and the prize form part of these Terms and Conditions.  Participation in this promotion is deemed as acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Entry is open to Northern Territory residents aged 18 years and over.
 
Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter are ineligible to enter.  Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
 
Promotion commences 10am (ACST) Tuesday 5 October 2021 and closes 11pm (ACST) Sunday 9 January 2022.
 
Eligible entrants must:
a. Register via the Kakadu Tourism website: kakadutourism.com/Flying-High-Kakadu-Giveaway

b. Follow Kakadu Tourism on Instagram or Facebook
c. Entrants are given a maximum of 10 bonus entries  for referring additional people

d.  Comply with the terms and conditions and all information entered must be valid, complete and accurate.  Any invalid, incomplete or inaccurate entries will be automatically disqualified from the competition.

e.   Agree to receive marketing communications from Kakadu Tourism. You have the right to unsubscribe or unfollow at any time.

The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of employment and residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these terms and conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
 
If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
 
Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically register or enter is prohibited and will render all entries invalid.
 
The prizes is for 2 adults travelling together and consists of: 

• Return Scenic flight from Darwin to Cooinda with Kakadu Air
• 2 Nights accommodation at Cooinda Lodge Kakadu
• Full breakfast each morning in Mimi’s Restaurant
• Early morning Yellow Water Cruise

Total prize value $2659 for 2 people.

Prizes is redeemable directly with Kakadu Tourism. Please allow 5 working days for your booking to be confirmed.  

Prize must be redeemed by 31 March 2022. 

Prize components are subject to availability and are not available during peak periods, special events or school holidays.

Any additional expenses incurred will be the responsibility of the prize winner including but not limited to spending money, gratuities, services charges, items of a personal nature, in-room charges, travel insurance, pre and post accommodation, optional activities or excursions, and all other ancillary costs
If for any reason, once the prize has been booked, you do not take the prize or an element of the prize at the time stipulated, then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for cash.
The prize draw will take place at 10am (ACST) Tuesday 11 January 2022 and will be published on Kakadu Tourisms Facebook page and Instagram account.

A re-draw will take place if the prize winner is not able to be contacted within 3 days of the original draw date.
