To celebrate the return of buzzer-beaters and bracket busters, we're holding our very own championship — though the players will be furry, feathered and maybe even scaly! Best of all, it's free to play! Enter today for a chance to make your pet famous and win some fantastic prizes!

Photo Contest:

Entry into March Meowness is free. Use the form below to submit a photo of your pet. Only one photo submission per person, per day will be accepted. Please note: a pet cannot compete against itself in the bracket rounds. If multiple entries for the same pet make it to the top 32, only one photo will be selected to continue.

The top 32 photos (based on total votes at 11:59 p.m. PDT on Thursday, March 12) plus 32 wild card entries will compete in our head-to-head match ups beginning March 17. Each bracket will determine who advances to be crowned champion on April 7, 2026.

Schedule:

Voting is open to the public and will commence according to the following schedule.

February 27: Photo submission period and voting to seed our brackets begins.

March 12: Photo submission ends at 11:59 p.m. PDT. The top 32 images by number of votes plus 32 wildcard entries will advance.

March 17-19: Head-to-head brackets begin with voting in the First Round (64 pets).

March 20-23: Make your picks for the Second Round (32 pets).

March 24-26: Voting continues during the Sweet 16 round (16 pets).

March 27-31: Voting continues during the Elite Eight round (8 pets).

April 1-3: Voting continues during the Final Four round (4 pets).

April 4-6: The last day of voting and time to pick the champion! (2 pets)

April 7: Our 2026 March Meowness Champion is crowned! 🏀👑

Be sure to encourage your friends, family, social media followers, co-workers and even random strangers to vote for your adorable animal! Entry and voting is free, so there’s no reason not to give it your best shot! While you will surely want to use all your time to vote repeatedly for your contestant, only one vote per day person will qualify.
