Welcome to the 5th annual Great Salt Lake Bird Festival Photo Contest! Share your best birding moments with us for a chance to win one of our awesome prizes!  We will select winners for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and People’s Choice.

Submit your photo(s) of birds in Utah to be entered into the 2025 Great Salt Lake Bird Festival Photo Contest. You have until November 16th to submit your photos. Keep in mind that the sooner you submit, the longer others will have the opportunity to vote for your photo for People's Choice. You may enter multiple photos for consideration but will need to fill out a separate entry for each photo, and you cannot win more than one prize, with the exception of People's Choice. Photos that have been submitted in previous GSL Bird Festival Photo Contests can not be submitted again.

Please Note: Photos must be taken in the state of Utah in an ethical manner with a preference in judging given to the Great Salt Lake area and Northern Utah. Submissions must be a high-resolution photograph (ideally, at least 300 dpi and 2,000 pixels on the longest side) in .jpeg or .tiff format. Digital photographs should be taken at the highest resolution possible.
