ELIGIBILITY: The Name the Flavor Contest from LEGOLAND® New York Resort is open to children between the ages of 2-12 who live within the United States of America (“Contestant”) and have parental consent to enter and participate in the contest. Adults are also eligible to enter.
HOW TO ENTER: There is no purchase necessary to enter. Each contestant may submit only one entry to LEGOLAND® New York Resort (“Sponsor”); additional entries will not be considered. To let Sponsor know your minor child has permission to enter the Name the Flavor Contest, a parent/legal guardian of the Contestant must: (1) use their own email account in the field provided of the Contestant’s online submission and (2) check the box on the form stating “I am under 13 years old, but have received permission from a parent/guardian”. All entries become the property of Merlin Entertainments plc and may be used for public relations and marketing collateral, or posted to the web or social media, at Merlin’s sole discretion and without additional compensation.
WHEN TO ENTER: Entries are accepted from May 21 – 31, 2021. Submissions close May 31 at 11:59 pm EST.
SELECTION/NOTIFICATION: One (1) submission will be chosen by the employees of LEGOLAND New York Resort by the end of June 2021. Finalists selected will be announced on the official social platforms of LEGOLAND® New York Resort in Spring/Summer 2021. The winner will be notified via the parent/legal guardian’s submitted email address. The potential winner must confirm winning notification and prizes within thirty (30) days of announcement by: (1) the parent/legal guardian replying to the notification from LEGOLAND® New York Resort with an acceptance message.
Once this acceptance is complete, the selected Contestant will be a winner eligible for prizes and their entry to rename the ice cream dessert. Failure to so accept within thirty (30) days will result in the prizes being forfeited.
PRIZES: Winner receives ice cream shipped from A La Mode.
GENERAL RULES AND TERMS: The Name the Flavor Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, nor associated, with Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter. Employees of LEGOLAND New York Resort will vote once the deadline for submissions has passed.
