By submitting a Contest entry, you: (i) acknowledge and signify that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Rules; (ii) agree to be contacted by Travel Nurse Canada through email and/or direct message on social media channels including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram; and (iii) agree that the decision of Travel Nurse Canada is final and binding in respect of all matters relating to the contest.

Contest begins on February 24, 2018 at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time (“PT”) and ends on April 30th, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. PT. Travel Nurse Canada has the sole discretion in determining the timeliness of any action or inaction related to this contest.


The contest is open only to Travel Nurse Canada Employees. To be eligible to win a prize, entries must be completed and received by Travel Nurse Canada before the end of the contest period.


No purchase, payment or fee is required in order to participate in the Contest. To enter, Step 1: Take a photo while on assignment with Travel Nurse Canada; Step 2: Submit your photo with a short description and let us know when and where the photo was taken; You can post your photo the following ways:

2. Post your photo with Social Media 

Submissions can be made through Twitter, Facebook or Instagram. Follow AND tag @TravelNurseCA with #MyTNCanada (your “Submission”). In order for your entry to be valid, your Instagram/Twitter profile or Facebook post (depending on the method of submission) must be public and thus viewable by Travel Nurse Canada and its agents. Posting a photo online may require a mobile device and therefore message and data rates may apply. The authorized account holder of the Facebook/Twitter/Instagram account used to enter the Contest will be deemed to be the Contest entrant. Each entrant may be required to show proof of being an authorized account holder.

Rights Granted to Travel Nurse Canada: By entering this Contest, you grant to Travel Nurse Canada the right to reproduce the Submission and to otherwise use, exploit, copy, modify, adapt, edit, publish and display the Submission in any form, manner, venue, media or technology now known or later developed for any and all purposes, including, without limitation, for purposes of trade, advertising, and promotion as Travel Nurse Canada and its licensees or assignees determine, without further compensation, notification, or permission. By entering the Contest, you waive any moral rights you may have in the Submission in favour of Travel Nurse Canada.

Submission Requirements and Content Restrictions: All Submissions (including, without limitation, the Image and any accompanying statements or captions) must comply with the following requirements and content restrictions. By entering the Contest, you warrant that the Submission complies with these requirements.

(i) Your Image submitted (a) must be your own original work, created and shot by you; (b) The entry and image must not contain any material that would violate or infringe upon the rights of any person or entity, including, without limitation, copyrights, trademarks, intellectual property or rights of privacy or publicity, or that is defamatory, threatening, indecent, obscene or offensive, or that is unlawful, in violation of or contrary to any applicable laws or regulations, or which requires a license from any third party.

(ii) You represent and warrant that you have the express consent of any identifiable persons appearing in the Image to their name and likeness being used in the ways set out in these Rules, including Travel Nurse Canada’s right to use the Image for any future commercial purpose without restrictions. Upon request, you will obtain written consent of any such persons in favour of Travel Nurse Canada. (iii) Subject to these Rules, Travel Nurse Canada grants you the limited permission to display its marks, artwork and products in your Submission solely for purposes of entering this Contest. 

(iv) The Submission must be appropriate for public viewing. Your entry must also not disparage or cast a negative light on any person, entity, brand, product, or service.

(v) One entry aloud per assignment.

Entries (including, without limitation, the submitted images and their captions) that do not comply with the requirements of these Rules as determined by Travel Nurse Canada in its sole discretion are not eligible for consideration in relation to the Contest. Travel Nurse Canada reserves the right in its sole discretion to remove or disqualify any entry that it believes violates or potentially violates any of the foregoing requirements or otherwise fails to comply with any provision of these Rules. You agree to reimburse Travel Nurse Canada in full in respect of any losses, damages, and expenses, including reasonable attorney fees that Travel Nurse Canada or any of its affiliates may sustain, from the breach of a representation or warranty made by you or anyone acting on your behalf or with your authority.

Prizes (“Prize”): There is a total of one (3) grand prize available to be won. There will be 3 identical prizes for our top three pictures. Each prize will be a Fujifilm Instax Mini 9 Instant Camera with a starter pack including the following: New Selfie Mirror, New Macro Lens adapter for close-ups, 35cm to 50cm, 60 shot total Hi-Speed 800 ISO.



Winner Selection: On or around April 30th, 2018, Travel Nurse Canada will select three (3) candidates’ photographs of their choice from amongst all eligible Submissions that are received during the Contest Period (which ends on April 30th, 2018 at 11:59 p.m P.T). All winners are subject to verification of eligibility. All eligible Submissions will be judged by Travel Nurse Canada based on the following non-exhaustive criteria: (a) most apt, interesting and original Submission, (b) overall consistency and composition of the Submission for the Contest theme, and (c) positive representation of the Travel Nurse Canada #MyTNCanada & Selfie Photo Contest. The odds of winning depend upon the total number of eligible Contest entries received.


Winner Notification and Requirements: On or around the date of the winner selection (April 30th, 2018), Travel Nurse Canada will announce the winner on Travel Nurse Canada’s website and social media outlets, and will tag the potential winner’s social media accounts if possible. In addition, Travel Nurse Canada will notify the potential winner by sending an email or direct message via social media depending on their method of entry. 

Travel Nurse Canada may in its discretion disqualify a selected entrant, and select a substitute entrant, if any of the following occur: (a) the selected entrant is under 16 years of age (b) the selected entrant fails to fully comply with these Rules.

WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT TO INTERFERE WITH THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND TRAVEL NURSE CANADA RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER RELIEF FROM ALL RESPONSIBLE PERSONS TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Travel Nurse Canada will have discretion in its decisions regarding all aspects of the Contest and the administration of these Rules. Travel Nurse Canada’s decisions are final and binding on all entrants.

General Release: By entering the Contest, you hereby release Travel Nurse Canada, its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, prize suppliers, and each of their respective parent companies and each such company’s officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any liability whatsoever and waive all causes of action for any claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with these Terms, the Contest, or the delivery, mis-delivery, acceptance, possession, use or inability to use any prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses and damages related to personal injuries, death, damage or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or betrayal in a false light, intentional or not), whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or otherwise.
