SUBMISSIONS
The Clay That Connects Us will be a limited-edition Morris & James book built from the memories and stories of those who connected with the pottery in meaningful ways (pre-sale available soon). If Morris & James has been part of your life, we invite you to share your story here. Contributions can be short or long, polished or personal. If you’ve previously shared a message on social media, you’re welcome to submit it again.
Together, these stories will form a collective record of what Morris & James represented, and why it mattered.
How to submit your story
Your story can be any length - from a short reflection or comment, to a more structured piece. This is your space. We received many stories during the closure, and we’re hoping to include as many as possible in the book. You can write directly into the text box in the form below, or copy and paste from a document if that’s easier.
Ideas:
Attribution
If you prefer your real name not to be published, please indicate that in the form below.
Images
You may submit up to three images of your favourite Morris & James pieces or displays. This may include historic works worth preserving, or special items tied to your story. We recognise that many significant pieces now live in homes across the country.
Images should ideally be 1MB or larger, with 2–5MB preferred. Photos taken on a mobile phone are perfectly acceptable. If you’re unsure about image resolution, feel free to submit your images and we will assess their suitability during curation.
Submission Terms & Conditions:
Please read these important Terms & Conditions carefully before submitting your content for inclusion in the book → View Submission Terms & Conditions
You confirm that any images submitted were taken by you and are not the work of a professional photographer. Images subject to third-party copyright or licensing restrictions cannot be accepted.
