1. Eligibility: The 2023 Discount Dance Model Search is open to all citizens of the United States regardless of age, gender, dance ability or dance experience. Employees of Discount Dance LLC (“Discount Dance”) and its parent and affiliate companies, and immediate family members of those employees, are not eligible. The 2023 Discount Dance Model Search is subject to all applicable federal, state, territorial, insular, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.
2. Agreement to Official Rules: By entering and/or participating in the 2023 Discount Dance Model Search each entrant fully and unconditionally agrees to, and accepts, these Official Rules and the decisions of Discount Dance, which are final and binding in all related matters. Entrant photo shoot is contingent upon fulfilling all the requirements set forth herein.
3. Timeline: The 2023 Discount Dance Model Search begins June 15th, 2023 at 1:00 PM Pacific Standard Time (PST) and closes August 31st, 2023 at 11:59 PM PST. Submissions received outside of that period will not be considered. Ten finalists will then be selected by Discount Dance. Public voting begins September 14th at 1:00 PM PST and closes October 5th at 11:59 PM PST. The winner will be announced October 12, 2023
4. How to Enter:
a. Upload ONE dance related photo or video to either TikTok or Instagram using the hashtag “#DDmodelsearch”. (Note: the applicant’s account must be public)
b. Go to https://woobox.com/u9yjnm and follow the instructions provided to complete the entry form and upload the entrant photo/video. A PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN MUST SUBMIT THE OFFICIAL ENTRY FORM AND UPLOAD ENTRANT PHOTO/VIDEO FOR ANY ENTRANT UNDER THE AGE OF 18.
c. The photo/video and social media post on TikTok or Instagram constitute the entrant’s submission (“Submission"). By uploading a Submission, you agree that it conforms to the Guidelines and Content Restrictions as detailed below. You further agree that Discount Dance, in its sole discretion, may reject your Submission and disqualify you from the 2023 Discount Dance Model Search if it determines your Submission fails to conform to the Guidelines and Content Restrictions. By submitting a photo/video, entrant acknowledges Discount Dance may post it on the internet as it sees fit.
d. Guidelines and Content Restrictions: Only one submission per entrant. Spamming of any kind, or repeat submissions, are grounds for automatic disqualification. Submission must not contain material that violates or infringes upon anyone’s rights, including but not limited to their privacy and intellectual property rights, or that constitutes copyright infringement; Submission must not contain images not created by entrant or entrant’s parent or legal guardian. Submission must not contain material that is inappropriate, indecent, obscene, hateful, tortious, defamatory, slanderous or libelous. Submission must not contain material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual, or promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age. Submission must not contain material that is unlawful, in violation of, or contrary to, the laws or regulations where Submission is created.
5. Verification: Finalists are subject to eligibility verification by Discount Dance in its sole discretion and will be notified once verification is complete.
6. Determining the Photo Shoot Finalists and Winner: Selection of the top ten finalists is at the sole discretion of Discount Dance. Finalists will be contacted prior to the public announcement on September 14, 2023.

The photo shoot is non-transferable, and no prize substitution will be made unless Discount Dance, in its sole discretion, determines otherwise. Discount Dance reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value should a photo shoot become unfeasible for any reason. The winner is responsible for all taxes and fees associated with award and/or prize receipt and/or use.
7. Winner Requirements: Except where prohibited, the winner (or the parent/legal guardian if the winner is under the age of 18) will be required to sign and return a contract, which must be received by Discount Dance within ten (10) days of the date of notice, or attempted notice, is sent, in order to claim the prize. If the winner cannot be contacted, or fails to properly sign and return the contract, the award and/or prize is forfeited, and an alternate winner may be selected. Entry and completion of the photo shoot shall constitute and signify agreement and consent that the 2023 Discount Dance Model Search and its assigns may use the entrant’s name, photo or likeness, city, and state/territory, for publicity, promotion, advertising and/or any other purpose, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, including the internet, without limitation and without further compensation, notification, permission or other consideration, except where prohibited by law.
8. Travel: The winner is required to travel to the photo shoot. Travel and hotel accommodations will be provided by Discount Dance to the winner and one parent/guardian if the winner is not 18 years old or older.
9. Photoshoot Date: The photo shoot date will be mutually selected by Discount Dance and the winner. Once selected and the contract is signed by both parties, the date of the photo shoot may not be changed.
10. Release: By entering, entrant agrees to release and hold harmless Discount Dance, administrators, and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, advertising/promotion agencies, award, photo shoot, modeling contract and/or prize suppliers, and each of their respective parent and affiliate companies and each such company’s officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the 2023 Discount Dance Model Search or the photo shoot.
11. General Conditions: Discount Dance reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the 2023 Discount Dance Model Search in its sole discretion. In such event, Discount Dance may, in its sole discretion, determine finalists and a winner from among all non-suspect, eligible submissions received up to the time of such action. The 2023 Discount Dance Model Search, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any individual suspected of tampering with the entry process, manipulating the winner selection process, or acting in violation of these Official Rules.
12. Limitations of Liability: The Released Parties are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrant, printing errors and/or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the 2023 Discount Dance Model Search; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the 2023 Discount Dance Model Search; (4) printing, typographical, technical, computer, network or human error which may occur in the administration of the 2023 Discount Dance Model Search, the processing or judging of Submissions or the tabulating of votes, the announcement of finalists and the winner, the photo shoot, Change in or in any 2023 Discount Dance Model Search related materials; or (5) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the 2023 Discount Dance Model Search.
13. Entrant's Personal Information: Information collected from entrant may be added to the Discount Dance contact list for sending occasional electronic mail updates concerning special offers, new items, and other purposes. Discount Dance occasionally makes its contact list available to trusted partners it feels will be of value to our customers.
14. Change in Rules: Official Rules are subject to change and may be edited and/or updated by Discount Dance at any time with/or without notice.
