Entrants who submit an eligible entry for "Fatal Glitch: Let's Play a Game Virtual School Visit Preorder" sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) between Sep 4, 12:01 AM Eastern and Nov 2, 11:59 PM Eastern, will be entered for a chance to win a prize. Open to residents of the fifty United States and the District of Columbia, age 18 or older. Void where prohibited by law.
IMPORTANT: Please read these Terms and Conditions for the "Fatal Glitch: Let's Play a Game Virtual School Visit Preorder,” sweepstakes presented by Sourcebooks, LLC (“Company” or “Sponsor”). By entering the Sweepstakes, you agree to the terms of these Pre-Order Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions shall govern in the event of any inconsistency with other sweepstake- related materials.
Sourcebooks, LLC. is the sole sponsor of this Pre-Order Sweepstakes.

You are responsible for keeping your shipping and contact information up-to-date to ensure proper shipment of any Pre-Order prize. No other discounts, prizes, refunds or credits will otherwise be offered due to any such delays.

TERMS: The Pre-Order Terms and Conditions govern the entry into the Sweepstakes related to the Fatal Glitch: Let's Play a Game by Erin Entrada Kelly and Eliot Schrefer for the giveaway as defined below. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before submitting your Pre-Order Sweepstakes entry. By submitting your Pre- Order Sweepstakes entry, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.
ELIGIBILITY: The Pre-Order Sweepstakes is open to residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry, who have pre-ordered the Fatal Glitch: Let's Play a Game by Erin Entrada Kelly and Eliot Schrefer. All federal, state, and local regulations apply. LIMIT ONE (1) ENTRY PER PERSON, REGARDLESS OF METHOD OF ENTRY. Employees of Company, parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, and agencies, and their immediate family members and persons living in their household are not eligible to enter the Sweepstakes. Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Terms and Conditions, and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Pre-Order Sweepstakes. . You may also enter the Sweepstakes without a purchase of Fatal Glitch: Let's Play a Game by Erin Entrada Kelly and Eliot Schrefer, see “How to Enter” below.
ENTRY INFORMATION: You will be required to provide certain information, such as your email address and transaction information(s) (if applicable). You represent and warrant that all such information is accurate, and you shall ensure that such information is kept current. The Company shall have no responsibility or liability for inaccurate information or information that later becomes outdated, and shall have no obligation to make efforts to determine the correct contact or shipping information. ENTRY PERIOD: The Sweepstakes for Fatal Glitch: Let's Play a Game by Erin Entrada Kelly and Eliot Schrefer begins at Sep 4, 12:01 AM Eastern, and ends at Nov 2, 11:59 PM Eastern (“Promotion Period”).
HOW TO ENTER: Online or mail-in entry only. If you have preordered a copy of the Fatal Glitch: Let's Play a Game by Erin Entrada Kelly and Eliot Schrefer, enter by completing and submitting the entry providing required information, including proof of purchase via the website entry. Please provide your name, email address, Zip code, and a pre-order number or valid proof of purchase to submit your entry. All entries must be received no later than the end date for each book’s preorder timeframe to be entered.
You may also enter the Sweepstakes without a purchase by printing your name, mailing address, e-mail address, date of birth and the phrase “Fatal Glitch: Let's Play a Game Virtual School Visit Preorder Sweepstakes” on a standard-size postcard ("Mail-in Entry") and mailing it to: {Emily Hoppie, c/o Sourcebooks, LLC, 1935 Brookdale Rd, #139, Naperville, IL 60563. Postcard entries must be postmarked during the Promotion Period and received by Oct 6, 11:59 PM Eastern.
Automated entries are prohibited, and use of any automated devices will result in disqualification. Company is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry of information by entrants; lost or late entries or transmissions; interrupted or unavailable network, server, or other connections; scrambled transmissions or other errors or problems of any kind whether mechanical, human, or electronic, technical malfunctions of any computer hardware, software, or any combinations thereof; or problems associated with any virus or any other damage caused to entrants’ systems. Incomplete or ineligible entries will be voided. All entries become the property of Company and will not be returned. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of being conducted as described in these Terms and Conditions, Sponsor shall have the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes.
PRIZES. Entry into the Sweepstakes does not guarantee receipt of a prize.
PRIZE DETAILS:
1. Individuals who preorder the Fatal Glitch: Let's Play a Game by Erin Entrada Kelly and Eliot Schrefer and submit their receipt or submit "Mail-in Entry" before Nov 2, 11:59 PM are eligible to enter the Sweepstakes for the following prize:
a. A virtual school visit from authors, Erin Entrada Kelly and Eliot Schrefer, to occur in either November 2026 or January 2027, with an approximate retail value $2,500.
Prize is not redeemable for cash. No cash substitution, transfer, or assignment of prizes permitted. In the event of the unavailability of a Prize, Sponsor may substitute for a Prize of equal or greater value. The Prize may be delivered in digital format and may be provided for your personal, non-commercial use only and may not be reproduced, distributed, publicly displayed, or shared.
Any and all taxes on the Prize awarded to a legal U.S. resident will be the responsibility of the winners. Sponsor shall not be responsible for any delays, or technical issues in the case of electronic delivery of the Prize, if provided in digital format, and/or loss of any Prize in connection with delivery of the Prize via mail. Any and all federal, state, provincial and local taxes related to a prize awarded to a legal U.S. resident are solely the responsibility of the winner and Sponsor will comply with all tax reporting Prize. All other expenses not specified as part of Prize description are solely the recipient’s responsibility. The Prize is awarded “as is” and without any warranty, except as required by law. In no event will more than the number of Prizes stated in these Terms and Conditions be awarded.
WINNER SELECTION:
US Winner Confirmation. Winner(s) will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. All entrants from among all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period will be eligible to receive Prizes as provided above. Winners will be selected among all entries received by Sponsor. Sponsor’s decisions as to the administration and operation of the Pre-Order Giveaway are final and binding in all matters related to the Pre-Order Giveaway. On or around Nov 5, 11:26 AM Eastern in New York, New York, United States, the Sponsor will select entrants for Prizes. Odds of winning a Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. Winners will be notified and must respond to email notification within twenty-four (24) hours of receipt. Winners must provide Sponsor will full contact details in order to be awarded the prize. Winners must complete, sign, and return the presented affidavit of eligibility, mutually acceptable liability release, and publicity release, and appropriate tax documents (the “U.S. Documents”) within seven (7) calendar days of delivery of the U.S. Documents, or the prize will be forfeited in its entirety. Noncompliance with these conditions may result in forfeiture of the Prize, and Sponsor reserves the right to select alternate winners in such circumstance.
DIGITAL DELIVERY: The expected digital delivery date for digital Prizes, if applicable, will be within fourteen (14) days of the end of the Sweepstakes as stated herein, subject to reasonable delays. Such date is only an estimate, is subject to change, and Company does not represent or warrant that it will be able to delivery the Prize by the estimated date. As a result, in the event that a delay arises and the estimated shipment and/or release of the Prize is not met, Company is not responsible for any damages that may occur due to the delay, nor shall it be obligated, except as set forth in these Terms and Conditions, to provide any discounts, refunds or credits due to any such delays.
PRIVACY POLICY: All information submitted in connection with entry to this Sweepstakes shall be governed by Company’s privacy policy (at www.sourcebooks.com/privacy-policy). By entering this Giveaway, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Privacy Policy.
DISCLAIMERS: The Prize is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. By applying for this Sweepstakes and/or accepting the Prize, in any format, entrants agree that Company and its parent companies, assigns, subsidiaries and affiliates, and advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies and all of their respective employees, officers and directors will have no liability whatsoever, and will be held harmless by entrants for any liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind to person and property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the acceptance, possession, misuse, or use of the Prize, or participation in this Sweepstakes.
Any dispute arising from this Sweepstakes will be determined according to the laws of the State of IL, without reference to its conflict of law principles, and by entering the entrants consent to the personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New York County and agree that such courts have exclusive jurisdiction over all such disputes.
