In Radiolab’s Zoozve episode, we named our first ever quasi-moon. Now it’s your turn!
The Name a Quasi-Moon contest is now officially open. From now until January 1, 2025, cast your vote to name earth’s quasi-moon, currently known as (164207) 2004 GU9.
After voting closes on January 1st, the name with the most votes will be our new quasi-moon, certified by International Astronomical Union (IAU) and in our orbit for over 600 years.
