Nominations are open for WIC's inaugural Raw Magic Award 2022

 This award is open to female ACT region tertiary students who have graduated/will graduated in an ICT or Digital related STEM field between July 2022 and June 2023. 

Nominations close on 12 October 2022 and awards will be presented at the WIC Annual Dinner Debate on 11 November 2022.

WIC's inaugural Raw Magic award seeks to support a woman to maximize her potential as she moves from ICT studies into the workforce. The winner of the Raw Magic award will be granted two years of free membership of WIC, a years' worth of coaching/mentoring from a WIC committee member, free tickets to one year of WIC events to assist with building a network in the industry as well as support to develop a professional CV/profile.

Awards will be presented at the WIC Dinner Debate on 11 November 2022, shortlisted students will be invited to attend the dinner with their parent or guardian.

The Raw Magic Award is available to young women who meet the following criteria:

• they have undertaken tertiary studies and achieved a high standard of grades in digital or ICT related course
• they are graduating/have graduated between July 2022 and June 2023.
• they are intending to build a career in the ICT or a related digital technology industry.

Runners up will be awarded a year of free membership to WIC and free tickets to 3 WIC breakfasts to assist with building a network, as well as support to develop a professional CV/profile.
