Official Contest Rules for "Unleash Your Inner Animal: Strike a Pose"  Contest

 

1. Eligibility

• The "Unleash Your Inner Animal: Strike a Pose" Photo Contest is open to all individuals aged 18 and over.
• Employees, trustees, and immediate family members of the Maryland Veterinary Foundation (MVF) and Maryland Veterinary Medical Associaiton (MDVMA) are not eligible to win prizes but may participate for fun.

2. Contest Period

• The contest begins on June 1, 2024 and ends on August 31, 2024.

3. How to Enter

• Participants can enter as a veterinary hospital or by creating their own team/post.
• To enter, submit a photo imitating your pet or favorite animal through the designated entry form on the contest webpage.
• Include a brief description of the photo with your submission.
• Limit one entry per veterinary hospital, team or individual.

4. Voting

• Voting will take place from June 1, 2024 to August 31, 2024.
• Votes can be cast on the contest webpage.
• Each vote will contribute to the fundraising goal for MVF scholarships.

5. Prizes

• Categories include: Most Votes, Highest Team Donations, Highest Individual donations
• The top entries with the most votes will receive special prizes.
• Winners will be announced on upon completion of the contest.

6. Photo Guidelines

• Photos must be in JPEG or PNG format and not exceed 2 MB.
• Photos must be original work and owned by the participant.
• By submitting a photo, participants grant MVF the right to use the image for promotional purposes.

7. Judging Criteria

• Entries will be judged based on solely on the number of votes in their categories.

8. Fundraising

• Participants are encouraged to share their entry on social media and invite friends, family, and colleagues to vote and donate.
• Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law, as MVF is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

9. General Conditions

• By entering, participants agree to abide by these Official Contest Rules.
• MVF reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with the rules or that MVF deems inappropriate.
• MVF is not responsible for technical issues or other problems that may interfere with participation or voting.

10. Privacy

• Participants' personal information will be used solely for contest purposes and will not be shared with third parties.

11. Limitation of Liability

• By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless MVF, its employees, and its trustees from any and all liability for any injuries, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the contest.

12. Sponsor

• The "Unleash Your Inner Animal: Strike a Pose" Photo Contest is sponsored by the Maryland Veterinary Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing scholarships for students pursuing veterinary careers.
