OFFICIAL RULES Contestants must be amateur photographers and artists. Professional photographers or artists are not eligible. The Garden defines “professional” as a photographers or artists earning more than 20% of one’s annual income from the sale of photographs or art and photography services. All submissions must maintain the nature theme. Garden staff members, contractual partners, and their immediate family members are eligible to enter, but may not place in the contest. DSBG reserves the right to publish entries in both print and electronic materials and also reserves the right to submit photos to members of the media for the purpose of marketing the contest. Further, DSBG reserves the right to disqualify photos deemed inappropriate or irrelevant. Entries must be submitted by May 17 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Voting will also end at that time.
