DJ-808 Contest Rules and Terms 

1. These Rules are the conditions of entry to the DJ-808 contest “the Competition” conducted in or through Roland Benelux. They apply together with but override any additional rules published in connection with any one Competition. Entry into the Competition is conditional upon and confirms acceptance of these Rules. 

2. Entry to the Competition may only be made in accordance with the specified instructions for entry published in print or online in conjunction with the Competition. 

3. The Contest is only available for natural persons of age residing in the Benelux. 

4. Prize A: 1x DJ-808 + 2 weekend tickets for DanceFair Prize B: 1x V-MODA M-100 headphone + 2 weekend tickets for DanceFair 

5. The competition will end at 23:59 on 26th February and applications after this date will not be accepted. 

6. Employees of Roland Corporation, their agents or their families may not enter any Competition. Employees of any non-Roland party involved with the running of a particular Competition, their agents or their families may not enter that Competition. 

7. Corrupted, damaged, unintelligible, inaudible or incomplete entries will be invalid. The winner of prize A will be the person who gave a correct answer to question 1 and the subsidiary question. If no one gave a correct answer to the subsidiary question, the winner will be the person who gave a correct answer to question 1 and who was closest to the answer of the subsidiary question. If there are multiple winners, the person who registered first will be the winner. The winner of prize B will be the person who brought the most new entrants to the Competition. If there are multiple winners, the person who registered first will be the winner. 

8. Unless specifically stated otherwise, prizes are not transferable and no cash alternative to prizes will be offered. In the unlikely event of stock of a selected product becoming unavailable Roland reserves the right to offer an alternative item at similar value at their sole discretion. If the winner of the Competition is unable to receive the prizes during Music Fair (4-5 March 2017 at Utrecht) or he is unable to take up a prize for any reason or in the event that the prize is not claimed by 27th of March 2017, Roland reserve the right to award the prize to an alternative winner, in which case the first winner chosen will not be eligible for any share of the prize whatsoever. 

9. Names of winners and results of the Competition will be available on receipt and may be published on the relevant webpages of Roland’s websites and social pages. If requested, each winner must co-operate with Roland’s photographers or reporters to publicize the win as Roland deems appropriate. 

10. Failure to comply with any of these rules may result in the disqualification of the entry. Roland reserves the right to disqualify any entry at their absolute discretion. Roland reserves the right to reject entries if it suspects fraudulent activity. Entries that do not comply with the terms and conditions or participants found to be abusing the competition in any way will have their entry declared void. Roland decisions in relation to the competition are final. 

11. No correspondence can be entered into on any matters arising from any Competition. Roland will not be held responsible for late, lost, damaged or misdirected post. 

12. Roland reserves the right to change the rules applicable to any Competition or to void any Competition at any time and for any reason. In the event that any Competition is so voided, all entries fees will be informed. 

13. In the event of an error of any nature howsoever caused and whether obvious or otherwise which affects a Competition in any way, Roland reserves the right to administer the Competition as though the error had not occurred. Where Roland deems it appropriate and/or feasible we will notify entrants of the error and correct it through any suitable medium. 

14. Roland’s decisions are final in all matters concerning a Competition. It is a condition of entry to any Competition that the entrant agrees to be bound by these Rules whether or not they are published in the relevant websites and that the decisions of Roland on any matter whatsoever arising out of or connected with the Competition are final. 

15. All entries and information submitted in connection with this campaign will be treated in accordance with these Official Rules and Roland's "Policies on the Protection of Personal Information" and "Privacy Statement." Your details may be kept on file and used by Roland Corporation in accordance with our privacy policy, including for direct marketing and promotional purposes. This information will not ever be given to third parties for marketing reasons. By entering the campaign, you consent to our collection of such information. 

16. Belgian law will apply to any dispute related to this contest. Only the justice of the peace court of Herentals and the courts of the district of Turnhout will have the competence to handle any possible disputes.
