Nucor Steel West Virginia is proud to present the 2026 Ken Iverson Project, a steel sculpture competition that highlights local student talent in our region.

Voting for the best sculpture is open through April 6.

We invite the community to cast their vote for their favorite sculpture. This competition among area high school career and technical centers began in the fall of 2025 and aims to inspire creativity, art, and history through metalworking.

Each participating school received nearly 500 pounds of Nucor steel and had four months to create their sculpture.
