My Mom is my best friend. I tell her everything and we are always there for one another. Whenever I’m upset or need advice she’s always there too put a smile on my face and cheer me on. My love for Annalee’s came from her and we always surprise each other with new Annalee’s every holiday! We love shopping and thrifting together. We have a booth together at our local antique shop and it’s so fun to hunt for items together. She works, is the event coordinator for the city we live in, and ALWAYS makes time for her family. Family is everything to us. To be considered to win this prize for my Mom would mean a lot to me to be able to show others just how awesome my Mom truly is! I know she’s the absolute best but I want the world to know too! :) Thank you! Nicole Schiller
Words could never come close to being able to describe how much my mom means to me. She is truly my best friend and my biggest supporter. She is always there when i need her. She is the best grandma to my boys. We collect Annaless together. I hope im as good a mother as her.
This special lady has always been there for me! 56 years strong!!
I’m nominating my Granny as the special Mom in my life. We have about 60 years between us but you would never know! As a kid I would spend countless summers on her farm helping her tend to the horses, dogs, donkeys, etc. Not to mention I passed on a trip to Disney just so I could stay with her! It was her farm where I learned some of the most important lessons in life. I witnessed births, deaths, and the miracles that can be! As I fell in love with learning how to listen to those who cannot speak I hung onto every word she told me. My life has been enriched far beyond words because she let me tag along when tending to the animals. Because of that I worked hands on in a clinic helping animals and now work in animal medicine. When I have any victory or setback I call her. She is my sounding board, my best friend, my mentor, my world. She is also the person who got me intrigued by Annalee! She would have these critters scattered through her home on Christmas especially! As I get older and she is a bit further from me I like to keep these little guys out and somehow they always bring me back to pleasant memories of my time on my Granny’s farm. Memories are the true gifts in this life!
My mother is my best friend, my therapist, my cheerleader and my mentor. She has kicked cancer’s butt twice and has undergone FOURTEEN surgeries and has done so with grace, humor and not a single complaint. She is the strongest woman I know and I’ll consider myself lucky if I can be even 1/10th the woman she is! I love you, mom!
Our mom is special. She is constantly taking care of us. As you can see from our picture together she is a flight attendant. No matter where she is traveling for work she still is taking care of us. Making sure we have all we need to eat. That we get to school and all of our school activities. But most of all no matter where she is calls to ask if we had a good day. If we didn't she always listens and helps make our day good again. We love our mom and our mom loves Annalee dolls. When our dad takes us shopping for her birthday and Christmas. Each time we surprise her with a new Annalee doll. One from each of us.
I’m nominating my mother, Mary Jane Grymes, for the Annalee Mother’s Day Giveaway because Annalees make her smile, but she makes our family smile each and every day. She is a wonderful, devoted mother and nana who always puts the needs of her children and grandchildren first. She is our biggest cheerleader, and always supports and believes in us even when we don’t believe in ourselves. Since I was a little girl, I have been overwhelmed with my mother’s fierce love and unrelenting devotion. I am so grateful that I have been blessed with such an amazing mother, and that my three daughters are lucky enough to be graced with her love.
My mom has always enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, and few things make her happier than Annalee Dolls. Annalee Dolls’ whimsical nature and simplicity of spirit have brought much-needed joy to my mom this last year while she was quarantined due to the pandemic. Collecting, trading, and conversing with other Annalee lovers gave my mom a sense of purpose and hope during the dark days of Covid. My mother, like all mothers, deserves an extra smile on Mother’s Day, and I know an opportunity to cherish more Annalee Dolls would certainly bring a smile to her face. Thank you for considering Mary Jane Grymes for the Mother’s Day Giveaway.
Mom is my best friend, my moving buddy/support (military PCS every few years for the past 16+ and always knows how to calm me down and help me through all my highs and lows. Plus we’ve made our own Annalee’s twice together!
My mom is the most selfless person I know. She does everything for our family, she is a stay at home nana that takes care of her five grandchildren. Not only does she watch all of her grandchildren during the week but she hosts Sunday family dinner every week. She goes above and beyond to take of everyone else in our family as her friends before her self. She’s the real MVP of our family!
My mom, Rose, is the greatest mom ever and I promise I am not biased. My brother and I are nominating Rose for this award. Rose is supportive, inspiring, and kind. She challenges us to reach our fullest potential while providing us with any support that we need. Rose works over 50 hours a week as a Parent Coordinator at a NYC school. She works with families, providing them with basic necessities that they may need along with supporting her elementary school students throughout the day. Although my mom works many hours during the week, she always has time to play Scrabble or video games with us. She almost always beats us and will brag about it for days. She loves being called Grandma by her grand-dog, Rocky. Rose has been collecting Annalee's since she was a little girl and has passed on the tradition to me as well.
My mom is the most genuine woman who I refer to as a strong pillar in my life. She has accepted my fiance, Andrew along with my brother's partner, Austin, into her family with open arms. I can only hope that one day, I am half the woman she is.
My mom is my whole heart. Without her my trips to the supermarket would lack green veggies. Ice coffee taste better sitting next to her or on FaceTime. She taught me to love unconditional and is setting those examples for her grandchildren. All 7 of them.
My mom is a special lady, she is very active with Salvation Army. Hosting classes for kids and sponsoring families during the holidays. She makes baskets several times a year to support various charity auctions. She can never say no. We try to get away once a year to do a mom and me trip, COVID has been difficult because we can’t travel and she can’t spend time with the kids. Just feel lucky to have her in my life.
I would love to nominate my wonderful mother! My mom is truthfully the best! I am so happy to have her in my life! My mom is always there for us when we need her or to lend a helping hand. I am so proud of who I am today because of her, my mom and dad did a wonderful job raising us!
We have had so many fun times together from our family vacations, going on nature walks, tubing down rivers, going to garage sales, and best of all our all time favorite hobby— collecting Annalee’s!!! We both absolutely love our Annalee’s, we pretty much talk about them all the time!! Lol!! My mom will text me look who’s arriving today and without even seeing the picture she sent, I already know it has to be an Annalee!! We collect them all year round from vintage ones to new ones. It just brings so much happiness and excitement to us and our family!
Thank you Annalee for giving me the opportunity to nominate my mom, and for all the special moments my mom and me have shared together involving our Annalee’s!!
Happy Mother’s Day Mom, Love You!!
And Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful mother’s out there, too!!
This is me and my mother. Her name is Kim. She is my best friend in the whole world. She makes me smile everyday. She is so supportive, kind, caring, loving and puts everyone before herself! I have a disability and she takes care of me. She always keeps me positive and she pushed me to be the best versions of myself. She is my rock and the most important person in the world to me! I love her with all my heart. Her mom was an Annalee collector and now me and my mom collect Annalees together! My mom is honestly the most amazing human being in the world no one is more willing to help and no one is more supportive and loving than her. She is my whole world and my best friend.
My mom is amazing. She not only takes care of all of us but she makes sure she takes very good care of my daughter whom she babysits. My mom also made sure my husband and daughter we fed and had everything they needed when I was in the hospital on a vent with COVID. Despite being a mess about me being in the hospital, she made meals and washed their clothes and made sure they were okay. My mom is is the rock to our family !
My mom always makes me smile because she is always loving and kind.
My mom and I have the most fun beach adventures and she’s always dropped everything for me and my sons when we need her.
My mom is everyone’s go to. She’s our leader, advisor, Mental and emotional go to, the best chef, home decorator and nanny to all the grandkids. Most of all. She showed her kids what it is to be a loving and caring parent. I hope to one day be half the mother she was to myself and my siblings.
My Mom and I are like Nick and Nack, when you saw one you saw the other. We did everything together. When I was younger, the highlight of our week was grocery shopping, You see Mom didn't drive, so Dad would bring us to the market every Thursday night after Dinner. We would do the shopping and Dad stayed in the truck. When we got to the register Mom would give me her wallet so I could pay, and she would go next door to Sears to pay her bill and look around if we needed anything. I would pay the bill and make sure I gave the lady all the coupons, then i would take everything to the truck. Dad would help me unload the cart, then I went over to find Mom, if she wasn't already done. well speed up a few (lots) of years. Dad passed away and Mom was failing, so she so she came to live with my husband and I. Even though Mom was a fighter this past September, she went to heaven with my Dad. Mom was very concerned about me, since she was always with me. The only thing I did on my own was go to the dentist. Everything else she came with me. We spent many days at the Doctors, and the Cancer Center. We had the same Dr's, even cancer Dr's. I had breast Cancer just like Mom, so after my radiation was done, I still had followups. When Mom passed everyone was afraid of me falling into depression. this is When my older sister come into this picture. We didn't always get along as kids and it was so so when Mom was alive, but since Mom has passed, she has really stepped up to the plate. Everyday I usually get a phone call to see how I am doing and how my boys and their wives are doing. She set up this google Doc. so that I could check off the things I needed to do for me. I had put myself on the back burner for so long she wanted to make sure I took care of myself. So I Nominate my Sister Ann-Marie Hall-Fiske for making me smile every day even when I have sad days. I have included a pic of both of our families from the day after Mom passed. Thank you for listening to my story.
My Mom is the most thoughtful and beautiful person inside and out. She had me at the young age of 19 and has always been a hardworking and devoted Mom. My Mom and my Nana were my strength when I was diagnosed with J.R.A as a child, never leaving my side the whole time I was at Children’s Hospital, comforting and reassuring me that everything will be ok. She’s gone above and beyond for me and my Sister’s, always working hard to provide and give us a great life. We are the best of friends and I can’t thank her enough for all the love she has always shown, she has and will always be my best friend. I love my Mamacita!
my mom is the most positive thinker. she is a godly person, and always gives good advice and helps other people. she is dealing with parkinson's disease and myasthenia gravis but never complains. she could use a pick me up to brighten her day
