OFFICIAL RULES
YOU MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AT TIME OF ENTRY TO BE ELIGIBLE. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
These Official Rules (“Rules”) govern the Baseball Bet & Get (“Promotion”) sponsored by Connecticut Lottery Corporation (“CLC”).
DESCRIPTION: From Thursday, October 24, 2024 through Sunday, November 3, 2024 (“Promotion Period”), sports bettors who place a Qualifying Retail Wager, on any sport, of $20 or more at either the XL Center Sports Bar and Sportsbook (“XL Center Sportsbook” or “Sportsbook”) or the Fanatics Sportsbook at Total Mortgage Arena (“Total Mortgage Arena Sportsbook” or “Sportsbook”; collectively, “Sportsbooks”) will be eligible to enter into a drawing to win a prize. Each Sportsbook will hold a separate drawing. During each drawing, one (1) winner will be selected from all eligible entries submitted at that Sportsbook to win a baseball jersey of their choice.
PROMOTION PERIOD: Entries will be accepted from start of business at each Sportsbook on Thursday, October 24, 2024 through close of business at each Sportsbook on Sunday, November 3, 2024.
SPONSOR: Connecticut Lottery Corporation, 15 Sterling Drive, Wallingford, CT.
ENTRY: To enter the Promotion, eligible participants who place a Qualifying Retail Wager at either Sportsbook during the Promotion Period must submit a completed entry form including their name, phone number, email address, and jersey size. A Qualifying Retail Wager is any single wager, on any sport, of at least $20 placed during the Promotion Period at the Sportsbook. Qualifying Retail Wagers may be placed either at a self-service kiosk or with an employee at the counter. Participants must present their bet slip evidencing a Qualifying Retail Wager to a Sportsbook employee to receive an entry form, and then return their completed entry form to a Sportsbook employee in order to be entered into the drawing. No purchase/Qualifying Retail Wager is necessary to participate. Individuals who do not place a Qualifying Retail Wager are eligible to receive one (1) free entry per person.
LIMIT: One (1) entry per person, per Sportsbook, per day during the Promotion Period, regardless of entry method. No group entries.
ELIGIBILITY: Participants 21 years of age or older at time of entry and not prohibited from participating in retail sports wagering in Connecticut are eligible to enter, except employees of Sponsor, and any other organizations affiliated with the sponsorship, fulfillment, administration, prize support, advertisement of the Promotion and/or their respective agents, affiliates, subsidiaries and members of their immediate families or household members. “Immediate family members” shall mean parents, step-parents, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, or spouses. “Household members” shall mean people who share the same residence at least three months a year.
WINNER SELECTION AND PRIZING: Sponsor will conduct a random drawing from among all eligible entries received at the XL Center Sportsbook during the Promotion Period at approximately 12:00 PM ET on Monday, November 4, 2024. Sponsor will conduct a random drawing from among all eligible entries received at the Total Mortgage Arena Sportsbook during the Promotion Period at approximately 12:00 PM ET on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.
During each drawing, one (1) entry will be randomly chosen as the winning entry. Each winning entry will receive one (1) baseball jersey of their choice from Fanatics with a retail value up to $129.
Winners will be contacted by phone and/or email by the Sponsor. In order to claim their prize, winners must respond to Sponsor no later than three (3) calendar days after being contacted by Sponsor and must pick up their prize from the Sportsbook no later than seven (7) calendar days after Sponsor indicates prize is available for pick up, unless otherwise agreed to by Sponsor. Failure to claim prize before deadline will result in forfeiture of prize. In such case, Sponsor reserves the right to randomly select alternate winner(s), as necessary, from remaining eligible entries.
Winners are solely responsible for any and all costs, fees, taxes and expenses associated with prize award, receipt and use, including, without limitation, all federal, state and local taxes on the prize and any travel and/or parking costs that may be incurred. In all circumstances, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize (or portions thereof) of equal or greater value if prize (or portions thereof) cannot be awarded as described. Sponsor will determine all elements of prizing in its sole discretion. Prizes are non-transferrable and may not be changed or redeemed for cash, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee express or implied by Sponsor. Sponsor disclaims all and any liability for the actual provision, quality or nature of any third-party product or service accepted by the winners. Prizes may be subject to additional terms and conditions for use imposed by third parties. Sponsor is not responsible for any rules or restrictions imposed by any third party as they relate to this Promotion. The awarding of any prize is contingent upon full compliance with these Official Rules. Entrants agree to be bound by Official Rules and agree that if any winner fails to provide proof of identity, refuses to provide required documentation, is found to have violated Official Rules, or otherwise does not meet eligibility criteria, then the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner in a random drawing. Entrants understand that Sponsor is not liable for injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising from participation in this Promotion and acceptance, possession, and use of prize. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Promotion, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Promotion, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prize or in any promotion-related materials. Decisions of Sponsor are final and binding in all respects.
Odds of winning a prize depend upon the number of eligible entries received for each drawing.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, damaged, misdirected, incorrect or incomplete entries, typographical errors in the offer or administration of the Promotion, including errors in its advertising, these Official Rules and the distribution of the prizes. Prizes are awarded “AS IS”. Sponsor has not made and/or is not responsible for any misrepresentation or guaranty, express or implied, in fact or in law, concerning the prizes.
GOVERNING LAW/JURISDICTION: The Promotion is governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflicts of law principles. Entrants irrevocably consent to the jurisdiction and venue of the state courts located in Connecticut for the resolution of any claims.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: Participation in the Promotion constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the Promotion at any time, without notice, for any reason, including, without limitation, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, or any other causes that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion and, in such situation, to select the winner(s) using all known eligible entries received as of the date of termination in a manner deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for incomplete, damaged, misdirected, late, undelivered, delayed and incorrect, or lost entries. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual who is responsible for, tampers with, cheats, deceives, or otherwise engages in unfair practices concerning the administration, operation or security of the Promotion or intends to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrant or Sponsor. ANY ATTEMPT BY AN INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision. The use of automated entry systems or any other conduct that impedes the integrity of the Promotion is prohibited.
Except where prohibited by law, entry constitutes permission to use winners’ entry, name, hometown, voice, likeness, photograph and any statements regarding this Promotion in all media now known or hereafter discovered, for any purpose, including without limitation, in connection with, and to promote, market or advertise, the Promotion, in whole or in part, without review, approval, credit or attribution, notification or payment from or to entrant or any person or entity, worldwide, in perpetuity, or on a winner’s list.
By entering, each entrant forever and irrevocably releases and holds harmless Sponsor, Global Spectrum, L.P. d/b/a Oak View Group and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from and against all claims, damages or liabilities arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from entrant’s participation and/or entry in the Promotion and/or entrant’s award, receipt or use of any prize awarded in the Promotion. Subject to all federal, CT state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
