WILD EARTH COMPETITION TERMS & CONDITIONS

Wild Earth regularly runs competitions on www.wildearth.com.au, the Wild Earth Facebook page, and the Wild Earth Instagram account (@wildearthaustralia).
All competitions are subject to the following Terms & Conditions.

Acceptance of Terms

By entering any competition run on www.wildearth.com.au, the Wild Earth Facebook page, or the Wild Earth Instagram account, entrants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

Responsibility & Platform Disclaimer

• All competitions are solely organised and managed by Wild Earth Pty Ltd.
• Facebook, Instagram, and Meta are not sponsors of, nor responsible or liable for, any aspect of these competitions.
• By entering, participants release Facebook, Instagram, and Meta from any liability arising from the competition.

Eligibility

Competitions are open to individuals who:
a) Are residents of Australia.
b) Are 18 years or older, or if under 16 years of age, have the consent of a parent or guardian to enter and accept these Terms & Conditions.
c) Are not employees of Wild Earth, its related corporations, agencies, or immediate family members of such employees (spouse/partner, parent, child, sibling).
d) Have not breached these Terms & Conditions in previous competitions.

Wild Earth reserves the right to verify the eligibility and identity of all entrants and to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these Terms & Conditions.

Entries

• Entry limits: One (1) entry per person unless otherwise specified in the competition post.
• Invalid entries: Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
• Wild Earth accepts no responsibility for:
  • Incorrect, incomplete, late, lost, or misdirected entries.
  • Technical issues or delays that prevent entries from being submitted or received.

Winner Selection & Notification

• Winners will be selected via a randomised draw or as otherwise specified in the competition post.
• Winners will be announced:
  • In the competition comment thread on Facebook or Instagram, and/or
  • By direct message to the winner’s social media account or email address provided.
• By entering, participants give Wild Earth permission to use their first name, last initial, and/or social media handle in winner announcements.
• Winners must respond within 7 days of the announcement by providing their contact details (name, email, phone, and postal address as required).
• If the winner fails to respond within 7 days, Wild Earth reserves the right to redraw the prize.

Prize Delivery

• Prizes will be dispatched within 14 days of receiving the winner’s postal details.
• The value of the prize is as stated in the competition post and is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
• Wild Earth takes no responsibility for any damage, loss, or delay during postage.

Content & Usage Rights

• By submitting an entry (including photos, videos, captions, or comments), entrants grant Wild Earth a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, publish, and share the entry content for marketing and promotional purposes (including but not limited to Wild Earth’s website, social media channels, email marketing, and printed material).
• Wild Earth reserves the right to remove or disqualify any entry that is deemed inappropriate, offensive, or in breach of these Terms & Conditions.

Technical & Fair Play

If for any reason the competition cannot be run as planned - including but not limited to technical failures, unauthorised intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond Wild Earth’s control - Wild Earth reserves the right to:

• Disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process; or
• Cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the competition without prior notice.

Wild Earth’s Decision

Wild Earth’s decisions regarding all aspects of the competition - including eligibility, winner selection, prize distribution, and the interpretation of these Terms & Conditions - are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
