Win What You Spend Sweepstakes Official Rules
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. OPEN ONLY TO ELIGIBLE RESIDENTS OF THE STATES LISTED IN SECTION 1. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
1 Eligibility
The Win What You Spend Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") is open only to legal residents of, and residing within, Alabama, Kentucky, Georgia, Missouri, Arkansas, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Tennessee, and Virginia who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry ("Entrants").
Employees of Houchens Food Group ("Sponsor"), its affiliates and subsidiaries, participating vendors, advertising and promotion agencies, and entities involved in the preparation, administration or execution of this Sweepstakes (collectively, "Sweepstakes Entities"), and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child or sibling) and persons living in the same household, whether related or not, are ineligible. Void outside the eligible states and where prohibited by law. Participation is subject to these Official Rules and applicable law.
2 Sweepstakes period
The Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 A.M. Central Time ("CT") on October 12, 2026, and ends at 11:59 P.M. CT on October 20, 2026 ("Sweepstakes Period"). All entries must be received no later than 11:59 P.M. CT on October 20, 2026, to be eligible for the October 23, 2026 drawing. A postmark alone is not proof that a mailed entry was received by the applicable deadline.
Receipts submitted with an entry must be dated within the Sweepstakes Period and must be from a Houchens Food Group grocery store.
3 How to enter
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
Online entry: During the Sweepstakes Period, visit https://woobox.com/75zaww and follow the instructions to submit an entry. Provide your first and last name, complete mailing address, phone number, email address. Choose either receipt entry or no-purchase entry as described below.
Mail entry: Mail your first and last name, complete mailing address, phone number, email address and chosen entry method to: WWYS Entry, Houchens Food Group, 700 Church Street, Bowling Green, KY 42101. Include a receipt only if choosing receipt entry. Mailed entries must be received by October 20, 2026.
A. Receipt entry. Submit a legible receipt from a Houchens Food Group grocery store by uploading it with your online entry or enclosing it with your mailed entry. The receipt must show the store, transaction date and time, purchased items and transaction total. If this entry is selected as a winner, the prize will be a gift card equal to the full total shown on that receipt, up to a maximum of $150.00, as calculated under Section 5.
B. No-purchase entry. Submit the required entry information without a receipt and select or state "No-Purchase Entry." No store visit, purchase, payment or receipt is required. If this entry is selected as a winner, the prize will be one $150.00 gift card. Any eligible entrant may choose this method, including an entrant who has made a purchase at a Houchens Food Group grocery store.
Both methods are eligible for the same applicable drawings and are subject to the same entry limits, entry cutoffs and selection procedures. No-purchase entries do not have a separate or reduced winner allocation. Every eligible entry in an applicable drawing pool has an equal chance of selection, regardless of entry method.
Entry limit: Limit one (1) entry per person and per household per calendar day, across all entry methods combined. A calendar day begins at 12:00 A.M. CT and ends at 11:59 P.M. CT. Entrants may enter on multiple days using either method, subject to this combined limit. Submitting both methods on the same day does not provide an additional entry.
Standard mobile data charges may apply; consult your carrier. Sponsor cannot guarantee availability through every wireless carrier. Entrants may opt out of promotional email at registration or thereafter. Opting out will not affect eligibility or chances of winning.
Entries not legitimately submitted under these Official Rules are void. Attempts to exceed entry limits using different identities, email addresses, registrations or other unauthorized methods, or through cheating or fraud, may result in disqualification and voiding of all affected entries. Entries generated by automated programs, bots, scripts, robotic or macro methods are prohibited. All entries become Sponsor's property and will not be acknowledged or returned.
Proof of submission is not proof of receipt. Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, incomplete, delayed, stolen, invalid, unintelligible, technically corrupted or garbled entries, or failures to capture entries. In an identity dispute, Sponsor may require proof that the entrant is the authorized account holder of the email address used to enter. An authorized account holder is the natural person assigned that address by the organization responsible for assigning email addresses for that domain. All entries, ages and eligibility information are subject to verification.
4 Prize drawings and winner notification
On October 23, 2026, Sponsor or its authorized representative will select twenty-five (25) potential winners in one random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period by 11:59 P.M. CT on October 20, 2026. Potential winners will be notified by October 23, 2026. Any announcement before eligibility verification is complete will identify the individuals as potential winners, subject to verification and compliance with these Official Rules.
All eligible entries received by the final entry deadline will be included in the October 23 drawing. There are no earlier or subsequent scheduled drawings; an alternate-winner drawing may be conducted if a prize is forfeited.
Drawing pool: All eligible entries from both entry methods will be included in one combined drawing pool. Drawings will not be conducted separately by store.
Prize limit: Limit one (1) prize per person and per household during the entire Sweepstakes. Once a potential winner is selected, all other entries from that person and household will be excluded from selection for additional prizes. If a selected person is ineligible or a prize is forfeited, an alternate potential winner will be selected from the remaining eligible entries, subject to this limit.
No more than twenty-five (25) prizes will be awarded across the entire Sweepstakes. If no eligible entries are received, no prizes will be awarded.
Potential winners will be contacted by telephone or email, at Sponsor's discretion. Each potential winner must respond and return any required Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release, except where prohibited by law, within five (5) business days after notification. Failure to respond, submit required documentation or satisfy eligibility requirements may result in forfeiture. Sponsor may select an alternate winner by random drawing from the remaining eligible entries in the same applicable pool.
5 Prizes values and odds of winning
A. Prizes. Each verified winner will receive a gift card. The gift card will be mailed to the address provided in the winning entry. The prize value is based on the entry method used for the selected winning entry:
Receipt entry winner: A gift card equal to the full total shown on the receipt submitted with the winning entry, up to a maximum of $150.00. The receipt total as printed will be used to determine the prize amount, with no additional deductions for individual items or departments. If the receipt total exceeds $150.00, the prize will be a $150.00 gift card.
No-purchase entry winner: One gift card with a value of $150.00. No receipt or proof of purchase is required to receive this prize.
The maximum value of any individual prize is $150.00. The approximate retail value of a receipt-entry prize equals its awarded gift-card value, up to $150.00. The approximate retail value of a no-purchase prize is $150.00. The maximum aggregate prize value is $3,750.00. Actual aggregate prize value may be lower depending on winning receipt amounts and whether all 25 prizes are awarded.
B. Odds. Odds depend on the number of eligible entries in the applicable drawing pool and the number of prizes awarded in that drawing. Receipt and no-purchase entries in the same pool have equal selection odds. A purchase or payment will not increase the chances of winning.
C. General provisions. All applicable federal, state and local taxes are the winner's responsibility. Sponsor may require tax documentation and will report prize values as required by applicable law. A taxpayer identification number will be requested when needed for applicable tax reporting or withholding requirements. Sponsor will not charge a fee to claim or receive a prize.
Prizes are not transferable or assignable. No cash alternative or substitution is available except that Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary. Gift cards are subject to the issuer's terms; those terms will be provided with the prize. Lost or stolen prizes will not be replaced. Expenses not expressly included are the winner's responsibility. Advertising depictions are illustrative. Only the prizes described in these Official Rules will be awarded.
6 Conditions of entry
By entering, entrants agree to these Official Rules and Sponsor's decisions, which are final and binding in matters concerning administration of the Sweepstakes, subject to applicable law. A potential winner is not a confirmed winner until eligibility is verified, required documentation is received and Sponsor confirms the award.
Potential winners must furnish proof of identification and eligibility when requested and sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release, except where prohibited by law, within the deadline in Section 4. Failure to comply may result in forfeiture.
Sponsor reserves the right to conduct a background check on a potential winner to confirm eligibility and assess whether awarding the prize would bring the Sweepstakes Entities into public disrepute, contempt, scandal or ridicule, or reflect unfavorably on their brands, goods or services. Refusal to cooperate may result in forfeiture, to the extent permitted by law.
Except where prohibited by law, accepting a prize constitutes permission for Sponsor and its agencies to use the winner's name, biographical information, opinions, voice, photograph and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes in all media worldwide in perpetuity, without additional compensation, review, notification or permission.
Sponsor is not responsible for typographical, human or other errors in Sweepstakes materials, administration, processing or winner announcements. If more prizes are claimed than the number specified in Section 4 because of an error, Sponsor may select the intended number of winners by random drawing from eligible claimants. No more than the total number of prizes specified in Section 4 will be awarded.
If viruses, bugs, tampering, fraud, technical failures or other causes compromise administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper operation, Sponsor may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes, subject to applicable law. Sponsor may select winners from eligible entries received before such action or otherwise in an equitable manner consistent with applicable law. Sponsor may disqualify individuals who tamper with the entry process, cheat or act disruptively. Deliberate damage to a website or interference with the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may violate civil or criminal law, and Sponsor may seek available remedies.
7 Indemnification and release of liability
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, EACH WINNER, BY ACCEPTING A PRIZE, AND EACH ENTRANT, BY ENTERING OR PARTICIPATING, AGREES TO RELEASE, DISCHARGE, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS SPONSOR AND ITS PARENT COMPANY, SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, DISTRIBUTORS, RETAILERS, WEB DEVELOPMENT COMPANIES, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTIONAL AGENCIES, PRIZE SUPPLIERS AND OTHER PERSONS OR ENTITIES PARTICIPATING IN THE DESIGN, ADMINISTRATION OR FULFILLMENT OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS (COLLECTIVELY, "RELEASED PARTIES"), FROM LIABILITY FOR INJURIES, LOSSES, COSTS OR DAMAGES TO PERSON OR PROPERTY ARISING DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY FROM PARTICIPATION, ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE OR MISUSE OF A PRIZE, OR ANY SWEEPSTAKES-RELATED ACTIVITY, INCLUDING CLAIMS RELATING TO PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, PROPERTY DAMAGE, PUBLICITY, PRIVACY, DEFAMATION OR FALSE LIGHT, WHETHER UNDER CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, WARRANTY OR ANOTHER THEORY, INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE OF A RELEASED PARTY.
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ENTRANTS AGREE NOT TO SUE A RELEASED PARTY REGARDING A MATTER RELEASED ABOVE OR TO DISAFFIRM, LIMIT OR RESCIND THIS RELEASE. WAIVER OF ONE TERM DOES NOT CONSTITUTE WAIVER OF ANOTHER. NOTHING IN THESE OFFICIAL RULES EXCLUDES LIABILITY OR RIGHTS THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED.
8 Limitations of liability
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RELEASED PARTIES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE SWEEPSTAKES, INCLUDING ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE ENTRY WEBSITE OR DOWNLOADING OR PRINTING SWEEPSTAKES MATERIALS. THESE LIMITATIONS APPLY ONLY TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
9 Internet and wireless services
Sponsor is not responsible for electronic transmission errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, operational delays, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of entry materials, technical or network failures, equipment or software malfunctions, inaccurate transmissions, or failure to receive information due to technical problems or internet traffic congestion.
10. UNEXPECTED CIRCUMSTANCES: To the extent permitted by applicable law, Sponsor reserves the right to suspend, modify or terminate the Sweepstakes if technical failures, fraud, tampering, natural disasters or other unforeseen circumstances beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control materially affect its security, fairness or proper administration. Sponsor will post notice of any such action on the entry page. If the Sweepstakes ends early, Sponsor will, where reasonably possible and legally permitted, award the advertised prizes through a random drawing from eligible entries received before termination.
