Contest Period: The Wish Upon a Stella Rosa® Contest (the “Contest”) begins at12:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on November 1, 2023 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on December 31, 2023 (the “Contest  Period”).

How To Enter: During the Contest Period, you may enter the Contest by visiting https://www.stellarosawines.com/dreams-do-come-true (the “Site”) and completing the online entry form as prompted, including sharing what you are wishing for this year and which charity you would donate to if you won and why, to receive one (1) entry (“Entry”). Limit one (1) Entry per person. All Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. ET on December 31, 2023, to be eligible.  Entries become the property of Sponsor upon receipt and will not be acknowledged or returned. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, corrupted, incomplete or damaged Entries. Proof of sending or submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. 

Entries cannot defame, misrepresent or contain disparaging remarks about Sponsor or any of its products, or other people, products or companies or communicate messages or images inconsistent with the positive images and/or goodwill to which Sponsor associates. By entering, you acknowledge that your Entry may be posted on the Sponsor’s website(s) or other media pages, in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor shall have full right and power to copy, publish, broadcast, display, distribute, use, edit, translate, alter, combine with other material, reuse and adapt any or all portions of the Entries in any way and for any purpose whatsoever, at any time, now or in the future, in any media now known or hereafter devised throughout the world in any manner whatsoever and for any purpose. Entries that are not in accordance with these Official Rules as stated herein or are not received during the Contest Period will be ineligible. Entries cannot (a) be sexually explicit or suggestive, violent or derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional or age group, profane or pornographic, contain nudity or any materially dangerous activity; (b) promote alcohol abuse, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing), any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous, or any particular political agenda or message; (c) be obscene or offensive, endorse any form of hate or hate group; (d) contain trademarks, logos or trade dress owned by others, or advertise or promote any brand or product of any kind other than Sponsor owned brand/products, or contain any personal identification, such as, personal names or e-mail address; (e) contain copyrighted materials owned by others without permission; (f) contain materials embodying the names, or other indicia identifying any person, living or dead, without permission; and (g) depict anything, and cannot itself, be in violation of any law.

Eligibility: Open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the Disctrict of Columbia who are 21 years of age or older as of date of Entry. Employees of Riboli Family Wines (the“Sponsor”), their respective affiliates, parents, subsidiaries, divisions, suppliers, distributors, retailers of alcohol-beverage products; and advertising, promotional and judging agencies (collectively “Sponsor and its Administrators”), and each of their respective employees, shareholders, directors, officers, members and agents and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate or win. Void where prohibited and subject to all federal, state and local laws.

Judging: Each submitted Entry will be judged immediately following the Contest Period by a panel of Sponsor-selected judges to determine the fifteen (15) Grand Prize winners based on the following judging criteria: Originality (40%) and Passion (60%). In the event of a tie, tied Entries will be re-judged by the judges based solely (100%) on Passion. Decisions of judges are final with respect to all matters relating to the Contest.

Prize and Actual Retail Value (“ARV”): Grand Prize (15): $1,000 for winner, awarded in the form of a check and a $1,000 donation to the charity winner submitted at the time of Entry (if charity is recognized by Sponsor as a recognizable 5013c otherwise Sponsor will award to another charity in their sole discretion). The ARV of each Grand Prize is $2,000. ALCOHOL IS NOT PART OF THE PRIZE. No substitution or transfer of prize permitted except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor who reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value. All federal, state, and local taxes are the responsibility of each Grand Prize winner.

General Rules:  Potential Grand Prize winners will be required to sign and return a Declaration of Eligibility and liability release and, except where prohibited, publicity release and assignment of rights within three (3) days of notification in order to be confirmed a Grand Prize winner. If a potential Grand Prize winner fails to return the completed Declaration within three (3) days, Declaration is returned as undeliverable or if a potential Grand Prize winner is deemed to be ineligible, the Grand Prize will be forfeited and an alternate Grand Prize winner will be determined. Return of prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and alternate determination. Acceptance of any prize constitutes permission to Sponsor and its Administrators to use each winner’s name and likeness for promotional purposes without further compensation except where prohibited by law. Grand Prize winners, by accepting the prize, and all entrants, as a condition of entry, agree, as applicable, to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its Administrators, their respective parents, subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, suppliers, distributors and advertising, promotional and judging agencies and their respective officers, directors, shareholders, members, employees, agents, assigns, and all others associated with the development and execution of the Contest, from and against any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever, for injuries, death, damages, or losses to persons or property which may be sustained in connection with submitting an Entry or otherwise participating in any aspect of the Contest, the receipt, ownership or use of any prize awarded, or while preparing for, participating in or from any prize-related activity or for any typographical or other error in these Official Rules or the announcement or offering of the prizes. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the authorized account holder of the email account used to enter, will be deemed to be the entrant.  “Authorized account holder” of the email account is defined as the natural person who is assigned to the email account by an internet service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses.  Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Contest; violates these Official Rules; acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner: or acts with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Sponsor and its Administrators are not responsible for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications, whether caused by the sender, by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest which may limit the ability to participate, or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the Entries and administration of the Contest. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the Contest if it cannot be completed as planned for any reason, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, technical failures or corruption of any sort. In such event, Sponsor will determine the Grand Prize winners from among all eligible Entries received prior to cancellation. As a condition of entering in the Contest, entrant agrees that: 1) under no circumstance will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and participant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, consequential or any other damages, other than for out-of-pocket expenses; 2) all causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest, or prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and 3) any and all claims, judgments, and award shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event attorneys’ fees. 

Governing Law, Jurisdiction and Venue: SPONSOR IS REGISTERED UNDER THE LAWS OF THE UNITED STATES WITH HEADQUARTERS IN CALIFORNIA. THE CALIFORNIA COURTS (STATE & FEDERAL) SHALL HAVE SOLE JURISDICTION OF ANY CONTROVERSIES REGARDING THE CONTEST AND THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA SHALL GOVERN THE SAME. EACH ENTRANT WAIVES ANY AND ALL OBJECTIONS TO JURISDICTION AND HEREBY IRREVOCABLY SUBMITS TO THE VENUE OF THOSE COURTS WITHIN CALIFORNIA.

Grand Prize Winners: For the names of the Grand Prize winners (“Winners List”), available for ninety (90) days after December 31, 2023, send an email to: Winners@dja.com with “Wish Upon a Stella Rosa® Contest” as the subject line. Winners List will be sent after the prizes have been awarded.
