Official Rules and Regulations
INTRODUCTION:
The Price Chopper “VIP Day at the K” (The Promotion) is sponsored by local participating Price Chopper stores, Price Chopper Enterprises (the "Sponsor") located at 10561 Barkley, Suite 320, Overland Park, KS 66212 and the Kansas City Royals.
ELIGIBILITY:
Open only to legal U.S. residents residing in Kansas or Missouri who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Entries will be accepted from little league teams aged 12 & under. Teams can be entered by their coach or sponsor, who is 18 years of age or older. Teams can be from any sport, but the team must be under 12 years of age. A team will not be eligible if they have participated in any of the previous 3 activations or prizes. Employees, directors, officers, and agents of Sponsor, the and the MLB Entities (defined below) and each of their respective parent companies, divisions, dealers, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies and suppliers involved in the Promotion (“Promotion Entities”), as well as the members of each of their immediate families (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and in-laws) and persons residing in the same household as such individuals are not eligible to enter or win. Void outside the listed states and where prohibited or restricted by law. The “MLB Entities” shall mean the Kansas City Royals® Baseball Club, LLC, the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball (“BOC”), its Bureaus, Committees, Subcommittees and Councils, MLB Advanced Media, L.P. (“MLB”), Major League Baseball Properties, Inc., The MLB Network, LLC, the Major League Baseball Clubs (“Clubs”), each of their parent, subsidiary, affiliated and related entities, any entity which, now or in the future, controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with the Clubs or the BOC, and the owners, general and limited partners, shareholders, directors, officers, employees and agents of the foregoing entities.
REGULATIONS:
One entry per team is allowed. Additional entries will be void.
TIME PERIOD/TERMINATION:
The Promotion starts on May 15, 2026, at 12:01:00 a.m. U.S. Central Time and ends on June 26, 2026, at 08:00:00 a.m. U.S. Central Time (“The Promotion Period”). The Sponsor reserves the right to end The Promotion at any time for any reason. Price Chopper’s computer is the official timekeeping device for The Promotion. Prize will be awarded by July 10, 2026.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
Submit a photo of your team via our website. Submissions will be reviewed for eligibility. If they meet our eligibility requirements, they will be considered for the experience. Winners will be selected at random. You are responsible for obtaining consent from your team members to use the photo of your team in this Promotion. By entering this contest, you consent to have your team members photographed and for those photographs to be used for marketing purposes.
PRIZE:
Two teams will be selected as winners by a random drawing of all entries. Odds depend on the number of entries received. For this purpose, a team will include up to 30 individuals, including players, coaches, parent/guardians, and chaperones. A team will include up to 30 players and coaches. We are not able to accommodate more than 30 people per team. The VIP Experience is scheduled for July 17, 2026, at The K and will not be valid any other date unless otherwise indicated by the sponsor. VIP experience may include: game tickets for admission, exclusive pre-game experience, photo opportunities and announcement on Crownvision. If a team is unable to join for this date, they will forfeit their prize. If you forfeit your prize, we will move on to select another winner. Your team will have 24 hours to respond upon initial contact. If we have not heard back from you in 24 hours, we will move on to the next winner.
GENERAL:
The Sponsor reserves the right to change, alter, or modify the Official Rules and Regulations at any time with notice. The Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any participant found to be tampering with the operation of The Promotion. The Sponsor shall be the sole arbiters in all matters relating to The Promotion and its Official Rules and Regulations. The decisions of The Sponsor are final and binding in all respects. Any change in the rules will be posted at mypricechopper.com
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
The Promotion Entities, their affiliates, subsidiaries, retail members, shareholders and related companies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and/or agents assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware, or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry information on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site or any combination thereof. The Promotion Entities, their affiliates, subsidiaries, retail members, shareholders and related companies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and/or agents are not responsible for any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from any materials or participation in the VIP Experience. The Promotion Entities, their affiliates, subsidiaries, retail members, shareholders and related companies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and/or agents reserve the right to cancel, modify, or suspend The Promotion if it becomes technically corrupted or if for any other reason the Internet portion of The Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including infections by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of The Sponsor or its consulting agencies which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, functioning or proper conduct of this promotion.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION:
Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri or the appropriate Missouri State Court located in Jackson County, Missouri; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Promotion, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (3) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Promotion, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Missouri without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Missouri or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Missouri.
